My baby boy is loving solid food. I'm amazed at his appetite. The other night I was eating peas and he began jumping and squawking in his chair. I shelled one and gave it to him and he squealed in delight. Then he begged for more.
He likes the stage three baby food already. I feel like he wants to eat table food. Is this normal for a seven month old baby?

Pei Wei for New Year's Eve
Before our beautiful red eye I mentioned earlier we went to our favorite quick bite to eat, Pei Wei. David wants to own one some day. He scares me sometimes with his fantasies, but I've been told not to stifle his dreams! It's going to be next to his office building. I get the spicy chicken salad, only I ask them to make it mild. David gets the spicy stuff. We just found out there are some in Northern VA now. Who wants to go after a temple trip with us?
Christmas with Dallings
I tried to highlight most of our stay in Idaho, there were so many fun pictures to choose from. We met cousins Paislee, Vivien, and Kate for the first time. Rhett is going to have fun with those cute girlies. Thanks for all of the memories Nana and Papa.
My favorite Christmas Eve moment. Nana made them blankets and Grandma King made their pjs. It was fun to tuck them in with such anticipation for Santa.
Aunt Brooke put together a beautiful Nativity
Dancing with Pres, because that's how I embarrass my kids.
Uncle Val's special rides
The kids made cards for the elderly. The girls loved sharing their painted nails with the sweet lady.
Autn Diana painting snow with kids.
We were playing hide and seek in the dark with flashlights and the power went out. Uncle Steven tried to entertain us with trivia. The kids are still talking about this night.
Lounging with the ladies. Uncle Bags always razzing with the kids.
Uncle John with the helicopter and Daddy building the coolest bat cave ever.
King Holiday
We spent a few days in Utah before we went to Idaho. My family met us there. My sister brought her new baby Caleb. We could'nt get enough of him. I didn't get pictures of Grandma and Claire baking or everyone making a snowman, but we did a lot in a short time.
Opening pajamas
Snuggling Great Grandma Oscarson
The sweetest Santa, he called all the kids up by name and handed them a gift. Thanks Mom. Rhett's first time with Santa.
Claire loving her cousin Caleb. What a cutie.
Aunt Kim was Preston's favorite wrestling buddy. She has given my kids so much love. They also enjoyed burying Grandpa under covers.
She couldn't be happier.

The good, bad, and the ugly
We traveled over the holidays. That says a lot right there. The red eye on the way home was pretty ugly. What were we thinking. Oh yeah we thought our kids would sleep! The flight was full so Rhett was on my lap, he did better then the other two,the only problem was I couldn't move. It does make you feel like one heck of a woman going through security pulling off four sets of shoes, four coats, and throwing all our bags on the belt while holding a baby and still making good time. David was a champ too! The rest of the trip was very good. We loved being with family.
Ice skating
Claire was too big to hold my hand.
Once Preston got his groove on he didn't want to stop.
I heard that the mall was having free ice skating and I wondered how they were going to pull that off. Maybe in the parking lot? We took the kids and found out the ice, well wasn't really ice, it was plastic. On the plus side they got to put on real ice skates and they were estatic. Lots of fun.
