Orange

Mason is obsessed with anything orange lately. Last night we watched the movie "Home" and in it there is a cute little orange starfish. Mason cried and cried after the movie because he wanted an orange starfish so bad. Well, today we were shopping at Old Navy, which by the way Hailey's cute gray and sparkley sneakers are what she picked out with her gift card and in the check out line there just so happened to be an orange bottle of bubbles with an orange starfish on top. Couldn't have been more perfect! So lo and behold Mason got new orange crocs on clearance and the orange starfish he wanted. Plus bubbles! He couldn't have been happier. 

Hailey turns 6

It started off with her choice of breakfast- French toast with cool whip and strawberries and scrambled eggs . Then onto presents... I tried my hand at a homemade stick horse. Ha. Baba and Papa sent some fun toy kitchen accessories, GG sent a card with money then just a few other things from us. We recently organized her closet enough to make a "desk" area in there so she got some new things to play "school". 

Then it was off to a full day of play at  Wiggle Worms....

Then off to Lees to pick out a cake! She chose a chocolate cake with ocean theme - shark fins and blue Swedish fish on top. 

Finished the day off with her choice of movie. What a great day. According to her ..."it was the best day ever!" We sure love you Hailey girl. 

4th of July

After naps and clean up we headed to Freedom Fire...

It was a great program. We enjoyed listening to the Ryan Shupe and the Rubberband, watching/ listening to the laser light show, the patriotic program and an incredible fireworks show. 

Summertime Fun

Popsicles are masons favorite. And of course they have to be orange. Everything has to be orange lately. We sure love this boy!

Tony Grove

One of our favorite places here is Tony Grove. It's a great little hike that goes around a beautiful lake. Last night we went up there, hiked around a little bit and did some star gazing.
