Danny and I have had this semi-secret blog for quite a while…I’d say 2006. I never touched it. I have been embarrassed of it since its origin. So—I finalllly decided to take it over. It is called Dannanne because Danny made it, but I will write it, (and we’re married and love each other and all that jazz.)
You could call me a hypocrite. But maybe I’m not one if I admit it. Or rather, I’ll admit that I change my opinion a lot. A week ago I vented to Barb Chubbuck on how I thought I never could manage a blog. And here I am, trying to salvage this blog. In high school I wrote an article in the school newspaper on how Myspace was the bane of my existence. I now have a Facebook. In case I ever rant on how much I hate something that maybe you happen to love, have no fear, I will probably love it as well in a couple months. As of right now… Twitter gives me the heeby jeebies.
P.S. I just accidentally went to annendan.blogspot.com. They went to BYU too. So much for being original.

Danny the Liar
When I was a little kid I used to write stories all the time. I thought I was going to be a famous author when I grew up. I started majoring in Journalism when I got up to BYU, then I figured out that writing gives me anxiety. So I study art. And write massive research papers that give me anxiety… anyways. Here’s a little something I uncovered from my journalism majoring days. The assignment was to write a feature article on a classmate. So of course I chose the cutest boy in the class:
Missed two months of school for a surfing contest, encountered a near death experience with a grizzly bear, and lived 17 years as a prince in Great Britain:
All things Daniel Streadbeck has not done.
But other people think he has.
Daniel Streadbeck, a sophomore majoring in advertising from Villa Park, California, has not always been a liar. He likes to call it "storytelling." As a boy, he would sit in his room, fabricating stories to fool his parents and friends.
And that hasn't changed.
Every new person he meets gets a new story on the spot. "I am never the same on the outside to more than one person," he says.
Danny, as his friends call him, "enjoy[s] making people laugh." His dream is to become a successful advertiser or consultant- and with his quick, imaginative mind and sense of humor, he has his future cut out for him.
In his spare time, Danny likes to talk to his family, the people that bring him "the greatest joy in life," he says. From his vibrant blonde hair to his dynamic personality, as the middle child of seven, Danny does anything but blend in.
One of his biggest fears is having people know about and/or make fun of him for his "disabilities;" "disabilities" meaning Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD). The same "disability" that actually enhances what he does best- thinking fast and creatively on his feet. Danny's "disability," is part of what makes him the lively, multifaceted person everybody who knows him, loves.
There are many other stories that could be told about Danny.
But they'd probably all be made up.

Boots
This one time I took one of those Facebook quizzes to see which 7 deadly sin I was. I thought I was going to be Lust/Greed/Envy because I greedily envy and lust after Nordstrom.com merchandise daily.

Facebook said I was “Wrath.”

At least Tyra said this was the best picture of the 7 on Top Model.
The relevant part of this story: here’s what I currently greedily envy and lust over:
