New Camera!

Okay so the reason I haven't updated about our little angel Kaelyn coming into the world is because we can't find the memory card from our camera. We don't have any pictures of her at the moment unless the have been taken by our crappy I-phone cameras. I know....we are horrible parents.
Anyway, I finally got a new camera and it is suppose to be here in the mail today! I am SO excited. I promise I will take a ton of pictures ASAP and get some new posts on here of what has been going on in our life!

Update...

So I just wanted to update everyone! We are heading to the hospital early Monday morning to have our little girl, unless she comes before then. We are so excited and cannot wait to meet her! Contrary to popular demand Dave and I are about 98% sure that we are going to name her Kaelyn after all. We just love the name too much! Thanks for all your votes! We will be sure to post pictures ASAP of our little angel when she arrives. Talk to you everyone soon!

Blake turns TWO!

So Friday was Blake's second birthday! I can't believe I have a two year old. It kind of freaks me out! We didn't do much of anything special for his birthday that day since it is also mine and Dave's anniversary that day too. Dave and I left him with Grandma and Grandpa for the evening and we went to Goodwood for dinner! Yummy! I love that place. Then we went and ran a bunch of errands for Blake's party. I know....romantic. We do what we can.
So Blake had his part on Saturday and it was so much fun. Saturday morning Dave and Blake carved Blake's Halloween pumpkin together and we decorated for the party! I thought it was a brilliant idea to attempt to make Blake's birthday cake this year with a "truck" theme. The first picture is my first attempt. As you can see...not so good. With some help from neighbors (thanks Mandie!) I pulled it off, and I must say I am kind of proud of the finished product!
All in all it was an awesome weekend. We have enjoyed five years of marriage and have a beautiful little two year old boy and are loving life.

FINALLY an update & Maternity Pictures

So...I know that I don't EVER update my blog anymore and I am sorry. I am going to try to do better I promise. About a month ago my sister took some maternity pictures for me and I know some of you wanted to see them. I am not super psyched about posting them since the period that you are pregnant usually isn't a flattering time in life for women! Anyway...here they are. I was about 31 weeks along when these were taken. I am now 36 weeks and cannot wait to meet our little girl! (not to mention I am SO done being pregnant!) I am actually freaking out a TON the closer we get to having her. I am TERRIFIED to have two kids. I am scared that I might lose my mind! Any tips on how to handle things would be greatly appreciated!!!

IT'S A GIRL???!!!!!

So we went in for my twenty week ultra sound and the lady asked if I wanted to find out what we were having today and of course I told her we already knew. She told me not to tell her b/c she wanted to see for herself. About fifteen seconds into the ultra sound she said "so you are having a little girl." I told her "no, it's a little boy!" She then went on to tell me that this was not the case and that we are in fact having a little girl. So we are so shocked and so happy. We couldn't be more excited!
Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know the latest. We are in fact having a little GIRL, not boy!

Baby #2!!!!!

So I know that most everyone knows that we are expecting baby #2, but I thought that I would officially let everyone know that I am three months pregnant again! We are so excited! Blake has been such a blessing in our lives and can't wait to have another little person in our family. I just hope the next baby is just as chubby! We are finding out in two weeks whether this baby is a little boy or little girl so we will keep everyone posted.
