Fun-filled Weekend

Well Friday started off with a visit to the stinky rodeo animals. Luckily the kids don't mind too much.

Later that day Dave offered to take both boys in his campout. I was left single for Friday and Saturday and was able to start and finish a book in one night. Nice and relaxing.

When the boys returned we went Chick-fil-a for dinner. Without us seeing Carter grabbed a ketchup packet and squeezed it hard enough to splatter it everywhere. He says to me "mommy I got owie". Right buddy. A pretty fun night.

Random Pictures

So here are some pictures that don't merit heir own blog post but I thought I would share.

Here is how we go shopping to Costco with Daddy. Notice Carter's "bammaid"? Yep he is obsessed with them right now.

Here is a picture to document a date that Dave and I were able to go on. First date in awhile.

And another thing we are obsessed with is seeing the life flight helicopter at the hospital. Any time we go to Target or drive close we have to stop or the boys freak out. So here is one of our trips.

First Day of Preschool

Tyson started preschool a couple of weeks ago. To say he loves it is a complete understatement. I haven't had one morning of complaining from getting up so early. We will have to see how long that lasts. His favorite part of preschool right now is a new song he learned called "Slippery Fish". He is constantly singing it and now has Carter singing it. Hoping he will get a new favorite sing soon.

Labor Day Weekend Campout

We felt adventurous this weekend and decide to try some camping. It seemed like we were the only ones to try it out at the red cliffs camping site. We were also not sure if we would get rained out or not. Other than a couple of sprinkles it was a wonderful night. The only down part was the heat. Way too hot to sleep although the boys slept very well.

We woke up bright and early for a hike. I was so impressed with both boys they walked the whole way by themselves. It probably helped that we stopped every five minutes to check out something cool. It was the right amount of hiking for the boys and pregnant ole me. Overall a
great way to start our weekend!

This is actually a fallen tree. Probably the coolest tree stump I have ever seen.
