this is a shot of part of Salt Lake Library, i LOVE that library, it is so neat inside. when we lived in salt lake in our 4plex we used to study there a lot.

he got so excited about the trax train. but it was kind of sad that the sandy trains ended so we didnt get to ride one...next time though!

andrew got these swords, they are made of pool noodles. he loves them!

abby LOVED the gelato. it was pretty good!

the heavens smiled upon andrew last night. there was a big red motorcycle, and the owner said andrew could sit on it....he was sooo excited.

me and my babies. i love them so much.

andrew was really excited to get over to the water...

enjoying a maui wowi. MMM!

i love that pouty face. she was so mad she got stuck in the stroller. but when i would let her out, all she wanted to do was run away, and it was so crowded, it scared me to death to let her run around...so i would hold her, hold her hand, or put her in the stroller. most of the time it was the stroller because she was pretty tiring when she was trying to wriggle free.

this picture makes me laugh, because i have pictures of me when i was little doing that. and i remember doing that. especially when i was mad.

he saw me taking a picture, so he proudly held up this mirror...what a strange man!

andrew was too scared to go with me and abby for a picture with the guy below, so he stayed back with jen.

when jen showed me this guy, i thought this is what the arts festival is all about! he fit right in. i thought i really needed a picture of him to put on the blog. i was hoping he would blow those gold horns around his neck, he did that randomly, and it usually scared people because it was really loud. but it would have made a great picture.

those U's are still on his face today. last night i was going to wash them off, but he was about to cry so i just put a red pillowcase on his pillow...and decided we'd give them one more day. he is very sad today though, as they are fading. i may need to get some red facepaint so we can do that more often. the U's were a little rough, i really was about to ask the kid if i could just do it (before he started)...but oh well. he was just a kid volunteering, and andrew loved it just the same. it made me think though, it might be fun to volunteer next year at the utah arts festival. i loved it there. lots of weirdo's but thats to be expected. it almost wouldn't really be an arts festival without the weird crowd you know? it was just a very interesting and fun thing to do.

taking their picture together yesterday did NOT work. one would smile, and the other would be looking the other way, or just not paying attention...but i'll keep working on it...i want to try going to wheeler farms for pictures. i want to go get our family pictures there.

i love her arms in this one. they look so tiny and tan.

yah these are all of abby...andrew didn't want his picture taken really...he was having fun though trying to make abby laugh.

showing me she is tired...

she was laughing at andrew, with her crazy morning hair

so there are a few pictures of me playing with the camera with the kids. my sister maaret said on amazon i could get some backdrops and lights for a pretty good deal. so i think someday i will definitely do that! it would be so much fun...abby was tired when i took these pics, i didnt realize it was naptime already but she kept sitting there holding her ears, so then i realized, oh she is tired! not too much going on here. i am kind of tired today as i write this, so it may not be very interesting...last night i went to the Utah Arts Festival with jen, it was so much fun. i loved all the booths, so many different things there. a lot of things i would never buy, but were fun and cool to look at. and there was a ton of really neat photography booths and painting and drawing booths.
