I have been sitting on some dang cute fabric for some time now, not having the energy to do anything with it. Since the second trimester "I feel great" part of my pregnancy never came, I finally just sucked it up and got some projects done. First, I added some length to the leftover from college curtains that have been hanging in Paisley's room. I finally made her quilt(see that soon!)and had some leftover fabric to make the curtains the proper length, I am super happy with how they turned out-especially the pom pom trim. Then I made the chevron/flower pillow for our family room. Seriously might be one of my most professional looking items ever, I am super proud of it. And since I was on a roll with pillows, I decided to make a similar pillow for Paisley's bed, pretty cute no? Her room is turning out a bit more matchy-matchy then I had wanted, but it is more decorated and I just don't have the time or energy to go looking for coordinating but not matching things at the moment. I hope to break up the look a bit more in the future. I have finished some more projects but don't have pictures taken yet, more to see soon!

Yard Work
Paisley has really been getting into helping Daddy in the yard. Of course the favorite chore is mowing the lawn when you get to drive a riding lawn mower. I have even mowed several times, too bad we didn't get any pictures of my pregnant bod rolling along, cutting grass. She doesn't like the loud noise, so I found some ear covers in the garage and she was much happier. Sometime she just goes and watches Chris, even if that means sitting on a wood stump in a dress up dress. I love that she really loves doing and learning about outdoor things with Chris such as the yard, garden, animals, etc...I hope it lasts!
(Especially since none of this is really my specialty:)

Easter Eggs
We dyed Easter eggs with the Jensen and Moss families. Paisley did a lot better this year at not splashing the dye or cracking the eggs. Nobody had much stamina except for my artist of a husband, Chris. He turned out a chicken egg and a beautiful sun and stars egg. He made the sun and star egg for me and I loved it! Mt chevron, stripe, and polka dot egg didn't come out quite as good as hoped, but we had fun nonetheless.
Rash.....Again
Can I just tell you how much I loathe being itchy?? These pictures do not do the red, hiving bumps justice! I got my mysterious face/neck rash again, actually twice in about 10 days. After speaking to some doctors and realizing that they all thought it was an allergic reaction/that I am exaggerating/that I am crazy, I bit the bullet and a made an appointment with my homeopathic chiropractor that fixed the rash I had several years ago. After some testing she determined that my body was having a bad reaction to something that baby Tucker was producing in my body...awesome. Not much I can do about that, however after some more testing, we found that a kelp(as in sea kelp) supplement would help and would also help my nearly 24 hr a day heartburn/acid reflux. After a quick adjustment, my heartburn was already practically gone, I love this lady! (I just wish my insurance could pay for her) I picked up a kelp supplement and am happy to report that not only has my heartburn been less-way less for the following 2-3 weeks, but I have only had one small flare up of the rash since then. I take one kelp supplement every morning, I am a believer of homeopathic medicine! Also, I have not changed my diet, any face, body, hair, cleaning products at all during all of this. I knew it was not an allergic reaction.
Random Paisley
Non stop entertainment I tell you. She has a dress up of some sort on just about everyday, but it can't just be the dress now, it needs to be her princess shoes, crown, necklace and bracelet. She has just about perfected her wall headstand. She can pop right up into one and often then does hands free. She loves to make silly faces and make others(especially me) laugh. Sometimes when she has done it 20 times in a row and I don't laugh that time, she asks me why I am not laughing?? I LOVE spending my days with this gal. Her constant singing and make believe with her animals and babies is so fun to watch.
Because we are all natural like that
After lots of reading, I decided that we were going to start making our own laundry detergent. It would save us money(never a bad thing), be less chemicals on our clothes and hopefully work better then the store bought stuff. After gathering all the ingredients needed(got them all at Wally world-holla!) we set to work grating and mixing. Paisley thought it was great fun and wanted to help with every aspect. She also got in on the picture taking, you can thank her for half of Chris's face. After using it for about 6 weeks now, I have to tell you, I love it! It works well and it looks pretty in the glass jar I got for it. I only use about 2 TBL per load, the batch that we made cost about $30 and should last us for a year. I am stoked, next time I want to find the pink soap so it will have pink flakes instead of yellow. Don't mind that random picture of Paisley, one day she wanted a picture of her knee since it had a band aid, so there it is. If you want to know what recipe we use, just ask!

My Birthday
I celebrated my 29th birthday in March, 29!?!? That just sounds so old to me. I had a great day at the mall all by myself, shopping at a leisurely pace and then met up with the fam at Red Robin for an insane birthday celebration dinner. I ate so much, it was fantastic, until we left and I was super uncomfortable for an hour or so, whoops. When we got home, several of my awesome friends had left cards, flowers, and baked goods on our door step for me. I sure felt loved. The next day I snuck off and got a much needed pedicure, all in all it was a great birthday. Thanks to the Jensen's and my wonderful friends for making me feel loved and celebrated!
