Centennial Olympic Park

A few weeks ago we took a late Sunday afternoon trip to downtown Atlanta and spent some time playing in Centennial Olympic Park, a park erected in honor of the 1996 Summer Olympic Games.

Here are some of the pics from our adventure:

Welcome Maria Celeste Duncan into the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church

Today on January 22nd, Respect Life Sunday, our beautiful Maria was brought into the fold of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. Thank you to Grandma and Grandpa Huber for being here with us to celebrate and witness this momentous occasion and serving as the godparents to our third little angel.

We celebrated the baptism with a little cake for Maria, but the BIG celebration took place at Outback Steakhouse later that evening....Yummy-yummy!

Although we are elated by the fact that our little girl is baptized, we were saddened by the fact that the rest of our family and friends couldn't be with us. But, of course, here are some photos to help you share in our joy today!

"Maria Celeste, I baptize you in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen."

Christmas with the Duncan's

Boy, has it been quite some time since we last posted to our blog. I think I (Brandon) almost forgot that we even had a blog. Either way, 2011 was a year of many blessings, especially as we welcomed our new addition to the family - Maria Celeste. She is perfect in so many ways. Katie and I can't believe how quickly our family is growing, and how time speeds on by without regard for memories. Thankfully, this Christmas we were blessed to spend with Grandma and Grandpa Huber and Auntie Annie. We were thrilled that since moving to Woodstock we were going to be faced with spending Christmas by ourselves, but thankfully to Maria she changed all of that.

We would like to share some of our memories from this past Christmas and we look forward to making many more beautiful memories like these. God's peace and blessings be with all of you this new year!
