Little Ezzie Girl

 We went to the gully to take her two month pictures.  I completely forgot a bow, so she's rockin' the 'receding hair line' look.  A bow would have covered it!  :)  Regardless of her hair, I think she is beautiful!

I'm trying to pick one for a birth announcement, so any opinions would be appreciated!

 Ezrie had her two month appointment the other day.  I am very proud to say she weighs 10 lbs 12 oz!  She is strong as can be.  She LOVES to stand.  Loves her sisters to entertain her.  Hates to be swaddled, but loves it at the same time.  She is beginning to suck on her hands, which I love!  She is also sleeping well at night!!! Yay!!

Halloween

 Here's a picture of my girls dressed for Halloween this year.  Mari was a witch, Mylee was a cupcake fairy and Ezrie was a cowgirl.  They were SO excited to go trick-or-treating!  Mylee came up with an idea to give cupcakes away since she is the cupcake fairy after all.  So, we made cupcakes and then went to the Sweet Tooth Fairy to buy some to give to special people. Aka, grandparents. The ladies LOVED her costume and took a pic of her and put it on their facebook page.  It's adorable!!

 This pic was Mari idea.  She wanted one where it looks like she's taking away Ezrie.  I think she accomplished it!

A day out

 Sean went out of town recently.  My mom and I decided it would be a great idea to visit my grandma!

I LOVE going to visit her.  It's about a two hour drive, but totally worth it!  I love the scenery and the girls definitely had a great time!

 There 's a mountain that I would always climb as a kid.  We decided to hike it.  It was a bit too windy and we didn't make it up all the way.

 Mylee wasn't enjoying the wind.

 This uncle of mine is simply amazing!  He willingly got the horse, put the saddle on it and took the girls for a ride in the cold, windy weather.  He won over the girls hearts.... especially Mylee's. 

And I couldn't leave out a picture of my grandma meeting Ezrie.  My grandma is one of the coolest people I know.  I hope that when I am 89 years old that I will be just as active/generous as she is.

SURPRISE!!!

 I would love to introduce you to our sweet surprise!  If you remember back on my blog I wrote that I didn't want to find out the gender of our baby.  Sean, on the other hand, really wanted to know.   The ultrasound let us know we were having a baby boy.  We were thrilled!!  I bought boy clothes and painted the room blue.  Well, the day arrived! Our bundle of joy on Sept. 1st at 8:16 p.m. weighing in at 8 lbs and 4 ounces.  Before arriving the dr. broke my water and found out that our baby had a bm and we would need to be quick to get the baby off to the nursery to make sure the baby didn't swallow any poo.  So, everything happened really quick!  Baby born, Sean cut the cord, baby whisked off to get checked out!  Sean went over to take pictures and meet our sweet baby.  He came back to me and said, "It's a girl."  I said, "No it's not!  Stop teasing."  Even the nurse and dr said to stop joking.  So, Sean went back to double check that he didn't miss something, but came back again and told the nurse that it was indeed a girl and to go look.  She does and comes back and says, "Yep, it's a girl!"  In the end, I got my surprise!!!

I feel so blessed to have her in our lives.  She is such a sweet baby.  

1st day of 2nd grade!

 I really cannot believe Mari is in 2nd grade!  Time just flies!!  She was super excited to wear her new school stuff.  

 Here she is with her friend, Raygen.  This year they are in the same class!  Mari is still doing the spanish program.  Mari came home from school just jumping with joy!  She LOVES school this year.  I asked her what exactly she loves and she said EVERYTHING!  I am very grateful for wonderful teachers!!

 This is Mylee after we dropped Mari off.  She's not quite sure what to think.  She missed Mari!

 Not only was her first day of school a great success, but she lost another tooth!  Her front two teeth have been loose for months, but she doesn't like pain so they have stayed!  I laugh because the other tooth sticks out ever so slightly, so I think she has 'billy bob teeth'.  It's simply amazing!!

PS........I am STILL pregnant!  My due date is less than a week.  Not a whole lot is going on.  Bummer...

Stitches?

Here's a little story about dear, sweet Mylee.  While at the baby-sitters...my friend...she decided to play rough on the teeter-totter and ended up cutting her eye lid open and bruising her check.  Since I was out, I didn't get there until 1/2 hour later.  Poor thing was sacked out in Aubrey's arms.  Since I didn't see what happened, we took a drive to the urgent care.  

Mylee was pretty upset about her eye.  Super sad!! She did not want to see the dr, but she cowboy'd up and put on a happy face.  The Dr. said she needed a stitch and started numbing her.  When the Dr. returned, she said it wasn't popping open anymore and just needed some steri strips!  Thank goodness!  I am so happy she didn't need a stitch!

We love the 4th of July at our house!  I only caught these two photos of these beauties, but they are perfect!!

Tamari turns 7

 I have been very behind on blogging.  Mari turned 7 in June!  I can't believe how old she is!  Time flies.  She is so kind, patient, considerate and a wonderful girl.  I love, love, love having her for my daughter!! For her birthday we went to a beauty college and had a pedi/mani/makeup/updo.

Of course, Mylee had to join the fun!

 Mari wanted a pool party.  For the past 3 years it has been cold weather for her birthday....can you believe that??!!  This year was the same!  But, she still had a great time playing.

I had my neighbor make her cake.  She did an AMAZING job!  It tasted delicious!!
