Another Rainy Day

We have had an enjoyable weekend in St. George with our second cousins, the Wintchs'.  We drove down Friday afternoon in Roger Thompson's Porsche Carrera and Laurel's mini.  The fuel efficiency on the mini is outstanding. Probably about $20 there and $20 back at near $4/gal on gas.  We stayed at the Vriens' home in Sunbrook.  Krista Vriens took Lauren down a day early and she enjoyed her time with her cousins. 

We ate at Bella Maria's Italian Cuisine on Friday night.  Quite cozy and the food was respectable.

Got to go eat Sunday dinner.

today is sunday.I had church.we learned about brigham young.

this week we have christmas.its on friday.last night i watched Santa vs. Snowman.it was about a snowman who wanted a whistle.he got mad and made minions.he made walkers and a big yeti.it was fun to watch.I just loved it.after i went to thier gift shop.they had slinkys and junk like that.then we went home.we had a piano recital.i played silent night.it was fun.

January

January has been a busy month for the Fetzer's. We've been skiing and played many hockey games. We've all been practicing our instruments. Cole, Nathan, and Thomas have been busy in their school classes learning and interacting in their various grades. Lauren has danced and had preschool. All the kids love playing with friends. We've built a rock wall in our garage and have loved climbing on it. We have finally organized the storage room and the laundry room and the garage. We are working on finishing projects that have not been done yet in our house. We are glad that February in on its way in.

Today is Dec. 21, 2008. Four days until Christmas. We have done many things lately. I was in the Nutcracker with Miss Margenes Dance classes. It was a lot of fun to dance on stage. The performance was long but fun to watch. I've learned how to do new dance moves by watching the older girls. I've had preschool on Tuesdays and Thursdays with Miss Jani. Kora Hudson, Anna Jorgensen, Gwen ?, Cash Johnson, and Isaac Hancy are in my class. I have a Christmas performance tomorrow at noon. I have been going to piano lessons with Nathan and Thomas. I love to go eat lunch with Thomas and Nathan at school. Ususally I just say hi and give a "high five" to Cole because his lunch is so late. Cole likes to be with his friends at lunch recess. My mom is making my quilt for my bed. I like to play with Leif and Finn on Tuesdays and Fridays (lately Fridays have been no school! so it's just been on Tuesdays!)I love to go swimming and boating and sledding and I am going to try skiing this year. I am excited for the fun things to do during Christmas.

Lauren's Journal

Yesterday I did the slip and slide. Emma and Fin Larsen and Nils and Preston and Dallas came. Then we had dinner together. Leif was not there. I broke a plate at dinner it went BOOM.

This week we go to Morgan to swim. Yesterday we slept in a tent. We went camping.

2/1/09 This week at preschool we talked about Dinosaurs. At dancing, we danced all about the book called the Mitten. I had playtimes with Annelise, and Leif and Olivia. We got our chores done on Friday so we could play our new Wii. Last week at Preschool we talked about transportation. I really want to go swimming. Maybe we can go tomorrow for Family Night. We are going to Nini's for dinner tonight. It will be fun to see our cousins.
