I can't believe my little "monster" is 1!

Emmett turned one year old on August 17th! I can't believe how fast that year went. He is the happiest most content baby! He is such a joy and we are so glad he is in our family! We celebrated with a Monster party! I had so much fun with this theme! We took so many pictures so I'll just share a few of my faves. Happy Birthday Emmett! So blessed to be your Momma!

Back to school...Back to school...

Didn't summer just start? I can't believe it's that time of year again. We did have an awesome fun filled summer but I am kind of glad to be back in our "routine" again!

Great to be 8

On June 23rd our Chance Man turned 8 years old! He was baptized on July 2nd. We are so proud of him and his decision to be baptized!

I can't believe these are the only pictures I got of his special day! A family picture would have been nice! Oh well, it was a busy memorable day. Chris baptized him and confirmed him. His Grandpas spoke and his Grandmas said the prayers. He had so many friends and family there to support him. It was an awesome day!

Grandma made him a baptism scrapbook and Grandma and Grandpa gave him a songbook to match his new scriptures.

I've been meaning to get pics of all of these for a while...My Mom made all the grandkids night lights for Christmas. She made 26 of these...They all turned out so cute!

Baby Food Stage

I've never been a big fan of the baby food stage but it seems I have TWO kids who are! LOL! Emmett is loving this new and exciting stage...

and so is Brylee! I got everything ready to feed Emmett, went to get him up from his nap and came back to this...

Now every time I feed him solids she thinks she needs a bowl too! She eats the whole thing...at least she's getting her veggies!

I really want to start blogging again! I was reminded by a friend's post the other day why I started blogging in the first place...I wanted to keep a family journal! How fun would it be for the kids to look back and read all of the fun stories about our family? Hopefully I can find the time to blog more and eventually print off our blog into books!
