What day is it?????

I woke up yesterday feeling nice.....Brycen was still asleep, and Kyler was is a good mood just wanting to start the day with a little sponge bob. Kyler and I snuggled in bed for a little while( Which never happens anymore.) I went in to Byrcen's room and got him out of bed at 9:45 and proceed to change his bumb, when Kyler walks in and says mom don't I have school today? Oh Crap Today's not Wed. Yes Kyler you have school, and You are already late. So needless to say that my nice morning ended very quickly with me running around like a chicken with my head cut off to get Kyler to school a half n hour late. The rest of the day didn't seem to go smoothly either, But today is a new day, and I know for sure that THERE IS NO SCHOOL TODAY!!

Bringing home Some Treasure.

This is hanging in my Bathroom right next to the Toilet.....Isn't that a perfect place to have JOY(especially if you get the job done.)

Today was full of Fun....I was able to go to Graples while Kyler was at school, and I brought home some very fun treasures. I have so much fun decorating my house and trying to make it feel like home, especially when I get them for great deals. Jesse wasn't to excited that he had to bust out the ladder, and help me hang all of my treasure's, but he was a really good sport and did it anyway. The pictures really don't do all of the pretty stuff justice, so you will just have to come over and visit to enjoy them with me.

Burned Biscuits.......

I received this email from my mother and really enjoyed it. I hope that this brings a smile to your face and a desire to look for the quality's and strengths in one another.

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...It's about learning to dance in the rain.

When I was a little child, my mom liked to make breakfast food for dinner every now and then. And I remember one night in particular when she had made breakfast after a long, hard day at work. On that evening so long ago, my mom placed a plate of eggs, sausage and extremely burned biscuits in front of my dad. I remember waiting to see if anyone noticed! Yet all my dad did was reach for his biscuit, smile at my mom and ask me how my day was at school. I don't remember what I told him that night, but I do remember watching him smear butter and jelly on that biscuit and eat every bite!
When I got up from the table that evening, I remember hearing my mom apologize to my dad for burning the biscuits. And I'll never forget what he said: “Baby, I love burned biscuits.” Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy good night and I asked him if he really liked his biscuits burned. He wrapped me in his arms and said, “Your Momma put in a hard day at work today and she's real tired. And besides A little burnt biscuit never hurt anyone!”
You know, life is full of imperfect things.....and imperfect people.I'm Not the best housekeeper or cook. What I've learned over the years is that learning to accept each other's faults - and choosing to celebrate each other's differences - is one of the most important keys to creating a healthy, growing, and lasting relationship. "Don't put the key to your happiness in someone Else's pocket – keep it in your own."

Crapa Charlie Workin his Dutch oven Magic.

What's in that kids drink...His hair is out of control.

Our home away from home for a few days.

Don't mess with a man hard at work.

Welcome to Sweet Colorado.

We packed up as a family and drove to Colorado to visit my Grandparents this week, and had a great time. We camped, cooked out, played on the Ranch and just had a great time relaxing with family and friends in the Great Outdoors. It was a lot of fun to see My grandpa and Grandma. They are such sweet and wonderful people and I'm so lucky to have them in my life.

No longer a baby.

Jesse and I took Brycen into have his very first haircut on 8/05/2009. I was so worried that he would cause havoc in the Great Clips, and force the poor girl into retirement, but he was such a good little boy. He held very still, and didn't scream once????? Yes you heard correct he didn't even make a noise! It was a hard thing for me to do, because in my mind as soon as they have there first haircut they are no longer a baby. The soft sweet texture of there hair changes and they just don't look the same. It was definitely time to have it done though. He was beginning to twirl it around his fingers like a little girl, and he was having difficulty seeing. So Jesse insisted that we go and have it done( especially when he started twisting it around his finger.) Brycen we love you so much. You have brought such a sweet spirit into our home, and we look forward to each stage of your life.

The Boise Zoo

I have lived in Boise for a long time, and couldn't say that I had visited the Boise zoo up until a few days ago. I was feeling a little lame that I hadn't taken my kids to the zoo, so Jesse and I took and afternoon and went. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. I was thinking that we would be visiting a park full of Ground Hogs and Hobo Spiders, but It had some neat animals that we all enjoyed.

My Baby turns 4

My Baby Turned 4. We had a special Spider Man Party at Settler's Park with some of his little friends and family members, and then went to Red Robin for his birthday dinner. It was a fun day for him, he had a great time, and you could tell that he felt very special from all of the attention. Thank you to everyone that came and helped us celebrate this special day.

Sneaky Little Devil

I was doing laundry and left the room to put some of the clothes away and when I returned I was greeted with two little feet sticking out of the dryer. The picture doesn't do it justice. he was completely inside of the dryer. Oh how helpful he wants to be....It's to bad that desire doesn't last a few more years.

Primary Carnival

They had so many cute cute cakes!!!!

This one was my favorite.

The Marshmallow Bow and Arrow...They were shooting at a lady wearing a target.

Kyler wanted to have Spiderman painted on his face.

This is the cute cake that Kyler won....choo choo.
I took the kids to my mother's wards primary carnival that they have ever year at the start of the summer. It was loads of fun for the boys and I had a great time watching them participate. They had a cake walk, a dunk tank, marshmallow bow and arrow, fishing, and so much more to keep the kiddies entertained for quite awhile.
