Matching pajamas makes for a cooperative photo shoot!

A little bit of Nicholaus...

So this post has brought me to a few realizations:

1) Johnny had an update every day when he was this age; Nicholaus is lucky if he gets one a month!

2) Ever since Johnny has started school, he just isn't in as many photos; we are going to have to remedy that!

3) Nicholaus is such a lovable cutie-pie! I mean, seriously, look at these photos!

Here we are at the beginning of October, and I said a month ago that I would be better about blogging. Time flies, eh? The boys are growing like crazy. Johnny is 2 and a half through and through. His memory is out of this world, and he amazes me every day with his vocabulary-but other days he has me pulling out my hair! A few weeks ago he asked Alex and me if he could go to school. There is a Montessori school in our town that all of his friends go to. We said he could if he could go to the bathroom in the potty. 4 days later we found ourselves having to come up with our end of the bargain! School should be starting soon! Nicholaus is 6 months old tomorrow, and is such a happy baby! He watches John's every move and I fear that he's taking notes. He loves to roll from one end of the room to the other, and sits up next to Johnny to play regularly. They are becoming closer every day, and I know Johnny is looking forward to him being more mobile...he can take his time! Enjoy the pics and videos.

Easter 2011

We spent Easter with our Ave family this year, and it was amazing! There were 13 of us that had Easter dinner together, and the students enjoyed being able to spend it with kids. The morning began with Easter baskets and a few pics of the boys, then we got dressed for mass and headed to the Oratory. In the afternoon, Johnny enjoyed being the center of attention! The students arranged an easter egg hunt for him, we all enjoyed some food and Johnny was proud to present the secret dessert that he and his "girls" had been working on after mass. Nicholaus slept a lot and enjoyed being passed around! Christ is Risen-Alleluia!
