We are having a good time in Utah, it is beautiful!

Kelsey has been bright and bubbly.  She danced her way through yesterday.

Shelby had a goal of trying everyone's Soda at the restaurant last night.

While the rest of us enjoyed the atmosphere and live music, Mitchell read a book.

iPhone Dump Day

So I have seen this on other blogs and they have an iPhone Dump Day.  Here are some of the best pictures I just downloaded off of my iPhone.

Kelsey has decided to decorate all the walls in the house.  Her she is cleaning her bedroom wall.

We went to Trader Joes.  They have little carts for kids to push.  She had an awesome time.

Shelby and Wesley helped the neighbors move a cord of wood.

Wesley earned his Bear in Cub Scouts.

 Shelby had her hearing tested.

Shelby dressed as an Irish School Girl for the International Children's Day Parade

Wesley was an Irish School Boy

Beautiful Sunset William and I got to enjoy!

Kelsey playing at the Halloween Party at the park.  Her hair was more on end than
I could capture in a picture.

Maybe I am that old.....

As a parent, I attended my first Cross Country Meet for High School Students this morning.  We went to UNM Invitational.  To be fair UNM is a university and there were both High School runners and University runners there.  However, the majority of the runners were high school students as well as there families there to watch them run. As we walked in the music was blaring, that did not surprise me. I wasn't expecting the music being played to live up to my standards.  But I was shocked to hear explicit music was being played.  Is that necessary at high school sporting events?  Is it normal?  Maybe I am old, but I felt that was totally unnecessary. Let me know how you feel about this.

Philmont

I know it has been a month since Mitchell got home from Philmont.  I still have family asking me where are the pictures.  I got these pictures from some of the adults on the trip.  I am not writing a narrative about each one, I think you should be able to figure out what is going on.  The boys went on a 12 day trip to Philmont.  They backpacked 6-11 miles a day, each location they backpacked to had some kind of activity to do rock climbing, rifle shooting, building trails, etc.  Mitchell was the chaplain aid on this trip. That means he was in charge of making sure they were saying their meal prayers and he was in charge of a devotional every evening. I think all the boys had an excellent time! The pictures are not in order, sorry.
