I went for my first time to MoMA 2 weeks ago and I loved it. It's such an inspiring place, I can't wait to go back again.

wish list - August (I'm in love)

It's not a secret that I love Charles and Ray Eames Design. I'm not in the business but I just love the lines, creativy and the timeless look of their pieces. I keep saving my pennies and I hope one day that I can buy... hmm...I guess everything :)

For a while now I have had my eyes on the Hang-It-All and the reason I haven't bought it yet is because I'm afraid that it has all these colors and that I may get tired of it.
Browsing at DWR site today I came accros this beauty:

Yes, it's a limited edition in black and walnut. Pure love!
Now I'm just hoping that it is not going to be sold out in the next few weeks when hopefully I can get it.

Why so quite here

I just realized that has been so long since my last post. 24 hour day is never long enough for all the things I want to do in a day.

I haven' had  time to decorate the house. We just have so much fun to explore around and I like to live in a place for a while before I do anything with it.

I can't believe how much we like the area we live in and how often we can enjoy going to NYC. I'm in love with the city! Love the smell, the hot dog/gyro trucks and ice cream vans in every corner. I love that we can walk everywhere, we don't take buses or the sub we just walk, look around and absorb the energy.

Dots, dots, polkadots

Dots never go out of style, I personally haven't owned anything with dots in a long time, think 80's silk red shirt with white polka dots. I know really bad fashion or more like lack of any.

At Tate Modern last summer I found cards with Bridget Riley design(see below) and I felt instantly in love with her work. I got three cards and  since I have been looking for the right frame to frame them. Also recently I bought dot flats(love them) and I relized that I really like polkadots, here are some of my favorite finds:

Wish list-May

Besides things for my home and for A.(my son) I don't really buy  much stuff for myself. Long ago before family, home and kid it was a different story:). But at the moment I'm totally obsessed with clogs and I love Swidish Hasbeens , I want these so, so bad:
