 We took my brother and his family down to the river one evening! Their little girl who is a year younger than Mitchel was all about the bank jumping! Infact she requested to do it solo... Ya that didn't happen, but she was braver than me! Kinley & I kept the babies entertained....on SHORE :)

Then we took a day to Tahoe and the kids had a blast, (I let Mitchel skip a day, poor kid was so sad to have to go to school when so many cousins and so much fun was at his house). I'm so sad I don't have pictures of everyone... happens that our new camera broke and is in the mail so every picture from here on out, well until the camera comes back, is from my phone.

 It worked out so cool. My brother headed to a convention and dropped his wife and 3 girls off here for the week and it so happened that 2 of my sisters nieces had the World Championship girls fast pitch tourney here in the Reno area. So not only did I get family, but I got to watch them play ball and share my new baby! Mitchel along with all of this was in COUSIN HEAVEN! We all had a blast and like I said sad I had no camera or MANY more pictures would of been caputured. But we did LOVE having a full house and lots of fun!!!

It's a serious disease...

.... that Cory has with sleeping babies. It used to just show it's systems when a sleeping infant was placed in his arms, but it has now spread to the degree that no contact is needed for extreme results to this disease.... It has even progressed to copying the structure layout of said sleeping infant, WITHOUT contact. I'm tell you it's gotten serious ;)

 But really how can you not have some kind of a reaction with this boy....even if it comes with sleep!

Come on babe' it's River time

We have had a couple hot spells and where Cory works in the heat with little AC relief, he had the idea to head to the river after work, along with any other employees and their kids that wanted to join. We brought down our portable BBQ, had hotdogs, chips, soda and just a great time.... well besides the dumb drunk kids there that we called the cops on...and then it was great ;) But really it was a BLAST.

Ummm the banks have sparked another victims interest...

the Buttars have come to town...

 Gayle, Charlie & Miley (their furry baby) came for a great but, like always too short of a visit, at the beginning of July. I love it when these guys visit! We had a great time, I got lots done because as you can see Brennen and Aunt Gayle got along great! We hit up an AMAZING donut shop here, saw Ice Age 4(right?!?), ate Sushi (Gayle's first), went to Virgina City and just really enjoyed the time!!! Even the dogs even enjoyed the company....they didn't move come 6pm!

 Oh Charlie how you make me laugh!! He told me I wasn't allowed to post the 'freakish' smile picture on FB...but he didn't say anything about my blog!! Besides I like it and it makes Mitchel giggle when he looks at 'that goofy Uncle Charlie!'

 And Cory was a great big brother, helping his lil'sis out and taking her for a ride on 'the hog'!

Likes...warm bottle, passy (YAY), front blow out diapers (still not sure how he accomplishes this), beginning smiling, holding his head up for short bits, snuggling his mama, laying on the changing table & attempting to stand

Dislikes...being left alone in the crib, 2 month shots (BOO) & an empty tummy

It's all in the goggles

Mitchel started swim lessons and he really wanted a pair of his own goggles. So on a trip to Walmart we got some goggles. He was SO excited to try them out, but swim wasn't for 5 days and he just couldn't wait. So my lil'man being so stinkin' smart asked if he could take a tub in my tub with his goggles on and 'practice swimming'! I said....HECK YES!

If you look close you can see the suction cup imprints of the goggles around his eyes! Such a blast being a kid!

It's a boy post...but aren't they all in this house?!!

Oh the many milestones and cuteness of a baby! We are all smitten with it and just can't get enough! But that's the way it's supposed to be!

Take out the clippers, it's hair cut time!

I know what your thinking...did she seriously shave her babies head...and yes your throughts are correct! Just think though Brennen lasted longer than Mitchel. Mitchel was 3 weeks and I was already trimming his hair, Brennen was 3 days under 2 months! Some ask me why I did it and I have to say I can't stand crazy baby hair on 'MY' babies. I know there are people out there that love it and leave it and let it do it's thing and on their babies I have no opinion, but one mine that doesn't EXIST. So #2 on top, with #1 on the sides gives a great lil'baby buzz cut!! Best of all Brennen didn't even care, good thing 'cause it's only the beginning!

Now that I finally got them in the mail I thought it would be safe to post it on here! I just LOVED how it turned out and the best part... well that's the bottom picture on the right!

First day of 1st Grade....

...and seriously can it get hammier than this....i think not!

My heart is truly so full for these two handsome boys!

 It's so cool because we live close enough that we can walk to school!! It's a great time to chat and giggle with no distractions!

Frenchman's Lake

 We did it we took our first venture out for the year. Maybe a little early for Brennen, but hay this little man has already flew across the country at 10 days... whats a camping trip at 6 1/2 weeks...right! We did have a blast. It was SO great for our family to get out of town for the weekend. Mitchel LOVED it, I loved it, Cory loved it and Brennen did great so I'm thinking it was loved for him too! We headed to Frenchman's Lake with some great friends and just let our families enjoy the dirt, sunshine, water and some adventurist hiking!

The kids found a baby frog and well the pictures below really say it all! It was great entertainment until it got away!

This little lady did NOT and I truly mean NOT leave Sophie's side the WHOLE trip, well until Sophie would escape into our tent for her retreat and to rethink tactic's! hahahaa

 So....who can catch a catfish with a fly rod...my man can! haha We all laughed pretty hard at this one. Cory woke up early and wanted to hit the lake so he headed out and tada first fish for him to catch on his fly fishing adventures... ummm I think we take  re-do on this whole fly fishing thing... But I have to admit pretty cool!

It was a great trip with some great fun....Demmick family we can't wait for the next one!
