BUSY
I've been soooo busy! It's amazing! I've been doing dance Monday- Wednesday 5:30 to 6:30. Also there's the talent show, so I've been practicing for that. Then, on Saturday mornings, I had volleyball but now I have soccer. Then over the weekend I sang the national anthem at a Villanova baseball game. Sunday I left Sunday school early to go to a dance competition (we got a gold trophy!). After that I went to a volleyball clinic and after that I went to dinner with the fam. It was busy but really fun.
Talent Show Performance
I auditioned for the Middle School talent show and got in. They decided who won by putting out bottles (like pretzel jars) and you put money in and the person with the most money wins. All the money goes to Peter's Place. I haven't heard who won yet but I will keep you posted. Hope you enjoy!

My little Sister
I have a little sister. Her name is Cammi. She is seven and can't have a blog yet so, she wants to say Hi! Cammi: Hi! I LOVE to do Irish step. I also am very good at abstract art. My favorite color is pink. I am really exited for Christmas! I would like an American Girl sled. Me: As you can see, she loves pretty much every thing but keep on reading my blog, you might just hear about another Cammi Calamity!
Dr.Martin Luther King, Jr.
In school, there is an art and essay contest for Dr.Martin Luther King. The theme is Dr. Marting Luther King-Living Legacy from Dream to Reality. You pick a person that is the legacy of Dr.Martin Luther King. They give you five forms the essay/ art work can be handed in: poetry, dioramas, posters, bookmarks, and button designs. I plan to do a song/ poem. I haven't picked a person to do yet. My mom said that the idea came from Broack Obama. I hope I win.

Student of the Month!
Today, during math class -right before homeroom- we were right about to take a quiz when the phone rang. My math teacher Mrs.Frignito picked up the phone and said "I'll send her down. We are have a quiz right now, so after that."I don't usually listen to those things but I was curious to see who "she" was. So after I handed my test in I looked around to see who left, I hadn't herd someone go out the door and everyone was there. I didn't pay much attention to it since it wasn't a big deal.
We are doing a canned food drive at the middle school. It is a contest, to see which class can bring in the most cans. My class won last year because of one girl. Lucky for my class this year that one girl is with me again. We went in the classroom for homeroom and saw a big cart in the back. Fifty-nine cans from her, sixty-six in all! As a student council rep I felt obliged to make an announcement to my homeroom telling them the number of cans and congratulating Irene (the girl who brought them in). Right before I did that the phone rang. Ms.Szkradnik answered it and told me to go to Dr.Geller's office. Dr.Geller is the 6th and 5th principal. Ms.Szkradnik told my I wasn't in trouble, but I was still worried.
When I got to Dr.Geller's office, two other 6th graders were there that I didn't know. Then, one I did know came in. We were guided to Dr.Geller's office by her secretary. In her office she asked us if we'd been good, and if we were getting good grades. We all said yes. Then, she asked us if we knew our community of caring values and if we could recite them. Caring, Family, Respect, Trust, and Responsibility, check. Then, she told us we were Students of the Month! I am so excited! Tomorrow I get my picture taken. They place the pictures in the Main Office. On Friday, my Mom goes to work in the school library, she signs in at the Main Office and will get to see it! I am proud of myself for getting this honor.

Dancing
I love to dance! I do Irish Step, the official dance of Ireland. We have currently finished a creepy dance that we will take to competition. Last year we went to competition with a traditional dance and we lost, well we got silver. The judges did not understand that Irish is different than other dances. The dance this year, though, is not traditional and is better than last year's. We are working on a second part to the first creepy part. We plan to do both if they don't have a time limit. The first part is fast ,then, the second part is slow in the beginning then gets really fast. I can't wait to do the competition!
