8TH grade promotion...

Wow! The time has come...Tyson has graduated from 8th grade and is moving on to High School next year. I have no idea where the time has gone. Middle school was a blur with lots of moments of frustration and good times. Tyson is so happy he si moving on. Ready for all the fun classes he says. Just one short summer of relaxing and high school will be here.

Happy Mother's day...almost Father's day!

A very nice quiet mother's day with my family. I love getting together and having a fun little BBQ with family. I am so glad that I got such a nice picture with my kids. Very rare that I think of just getting one with me and them.

Happy Easter...

As long as I can remember, I have always wanted baby chicks, baby ducklings and a baby bunny for Easter. I had a friend who was kind enough to let us borrow these little guys for the holiday weekend. They are so cute and fun to watch. Tuesday and her little friend.

Ski Trip Spring 2009

Josh has been wanting to take the kids skiing. In fear of all of them crashing with very unskilled parents. He decided to take Tyson up first, followed by Clayton (who asked everyday when it was his turn) and then they all went adding Sarah.

Tuesday and I will have to wait until next year.
Donner Ski Resort- very cheap and great for beginners!
They all got a lesson and had a great time together

Snow Trip #2

Last minute trip to the snow with the family. FuN! Never go to the snow thinking you won't get attacked by Josh. In this video, Josh is throwing snowballs at Clay. Clayton thought he was pretty smart holding the broken umbrella. Later on, you see Tyson and Sarah building a snow cave. Josh's timing was perfect for Tyson getting smacked in the head by a snowball. Topping it off with Clay and Tuesday stuck in the snow. Very FUN day~
It snowed like crazy when we were there. Tons of Fun.
Building our big snowman.
Clay ready for a fight!

Josh and Clay sledding.
Sarah building a small snowman.
Sarah is always wondering away when we go out on these little outings. Well, this time she took the sled all the way down the hill. It was steep and the snow was deep.
Tuesday loves to get her picture taken.

Big Trees Snow Trip

During our winter break, we took the kids to the snow. I love to go to the snow I just hate the planning and getting the things together. We had a great time with our friends.
The Edward's
The DeVoogd's

The Snow Ball fight.

This is one of my favorite pictures of Clay. He was so happy to be able to throw a snowball.

Watch out when you go anywhere with Josh. He takes every opportunity to ambush you. This time it was HARD packs of ice that he called snow.

Clay and Josh on top of a tree(pretty sure all the signs said, "stay on trail").

Christmas pictures

These were not my vision. I dreamed of us in the fall leaves and everyone happy and excited to be getting their picture taken. I would need help doing that and never got around soon enough to plan that event. So after church we went to a friends and had our picture taken so you all could see all of us in the picture.
Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year!
