Exams over!! =)

Finally, my 2nd sessional had come to an end last Wednesday(18/02/2009). Actually, it makes no difference also because classes started on the next day itself. Pity us right?? This is India's system lo. Actually, I am not really adapted to the system yet lo. Learning process here is so rush and there's just to much to cover in such a short period. T.T Like for this exam, I had only read 1/3 of the portion and went into the exam hall already. *sigh* ~~praying hard that I can pass my exams~~

p/s: people out there, do include me in ur prayers as well!!! hehe....Thx =)

Happy CNY!!

This year is the worst Chinese New Year I have ever had in my life. It is my 1st time celebrating it away from home. And poor thing...I am having class on the 2nd day of CNY...duh..luckily yesterday was a holiday. Actually, it was not even for CNY. Just coincidentally, Indians are celebrating their republic day yesterday..So, we got a holiday 4 it lo..haha..

Just a summary of how I celebrate it this year...

We went to our senior's house on CNY eve for a "reunion" dinner. Frankly speaking, this is my 1st time making fishballs la..wanton la...meatball la...n so on..

Shir Yen's bday...

It was actually on last Monday ( 12/01/2009 ). We organized a surprise party for her on Sunday itself. ( 11/01/2009 ). We ate together at Hangyo. The best part was playing on her. 9 of us attack her with flour..haha =p Actually, we planned to smash eggs on her as well but we didn't do so in the end..scared that she can't take it..LOL..

Unfortunately, one of my friends injured her knee while chasing each other. Her injury get worse last 2 days when there are pus coming out from it. Doctors here are so weird. They peel off the dead skin without considering whether it will leave scar on her knee or not. Just hope she will heal as soon as possible lo...

Then, the next day, our tablemates organise another birthday party for her. So coincidentally, she got the same cake again. ( This means that Manipal is too small. There are limited choices for cakes!!! LOL )

OK....just wanna say a bit about this chapter. Currently, Anatomy and Physiology are both doing Central Nervous System..We have always been told it's the toughest topic. As usual, everything is going at a fast speed especially Anatomy..why can't they slow down??haih.....

Today, while we are having lecture on Cerebrum, the lecturer told us actually all the functional areas that we are required to study are not all true..duh...we just study them for the sake of exams...duh....making life tougher for us nia...sot 1....

1st time...

Everybody will have their 1st time in their life. That's for sure...LOL...For me, I discovered today I have done a lot of "1st time"...haha

1) Most unwillingly event was we have Physiology class today in the afternoon for the VERY 1st TIME since I started my medical course last August. It's from 3-4pm le..So, it made our Saturday nothing different from our weekdays..duh....We have class from 8am-4pm each day..terrible right? haih...syllabus here are rushing like hell!

2) Today is my 1st time sitting down and ordering drink from Cafe Coffee Day in my college's library. It's a franchise like Starbucks in Malaysia actually..hehe...I ordered something called Tropical Iceberg..it's a mixture of coffee and chocolate actually..and I quite like it..hehe...and I realise sitting on the sofa there was so comfortable...LOL

3) Today, is also my 1st time jogging to End Point with my friends since I arrived India after the holiday..hehe...my stamina had decreased a bit I think...LOL :p

4) Today, is also my 1st time ordering Chicken Steak at China Valley. It's was quite nice. I may go there try their Sizzler next time. So far, I had only tasted the nicest Sizzler at Mangalore. It was just superb!! Too bad...we can't get it here at Manipal...haih...

Lastly..........I just realised today is my 1st time blogging in 2009...haha...sorry for the late update though..Time just past too fast over here..Everyday, class, class and CLASSSSSS.......ARGH!!!! =p

Back in India..=(

I am back in Manipal again. Pity me...haih...the journey was so tiring. I didn't get much sleep at airport at all. We can only sleep on chairs and it's so uncomfortable. Light is on also..LOL

In Miri Airport..c u in 6 months time..

I stopped by Kuching for a few hours. I managed to drop by my grandma's house in Kuching. I even got "ang pow" from her and from my aunt and uncle in Kuching. I didn't expect it also..haha..cause I don't even have the Chinese New Year mood at all this year because there's no celebration at all in India..haih....

Holiday is ending....T.T

Today is my last day in Miri this year. I'm going to miss home again. Everything is so convenient and enjoying at home. Too bad I am going back to India again tomorrow. Can't even celebrate new year back in Malaysia..haih...

At India,
1) NO entertainment
2) NO home's cooking
3) NO shopping ( for Manipal la..)
4) NO family members
AND STUDY! STUDY ! and STUDY!!! haih....

Time flies so fast. It seems like I just came back yesterday. Tomorrow, I need to start my long journey back to India again. From Miri--> Kuching--> Singapore--> Bangalore(India)--> Mangalore. (All by plane..sit til sien ar..) I need to stay overnight at Bangalore Airport even to connect another domoestic flight. Then, from Mangalore, I will be taking taxi back to Manipal. The whole journey will take about 2 days. Tiring, huh?? LOL.... =)
