CHRISTMAS IN WYOMING

We were able to spend Christmas in Wyoming with our daughter Frances! We had such a wonderful time being together as a whole family. Frances just loved her little sister McKenna and loved that they had the same pretty blue eyes that they got from their daddy! We stayed at Josh's sister Becky's house in Cheyenne and had a wonderful time with Joe and Becky and of course Tony and Jaquie! We played tons of games and had a wonderful time all together. My sister Brittney went and just loved being called Aunt Brittney from all the kids. On our way to Cheyenne though we got stuck in Rawlins! The wind was blowing the snow over the roads so much that they closed all of the roads. We couldn't even go around. We were really worried that we weren't going to be able to get to Cheyenne but they opened the road at 11am the next morning to Laramie and away we went. We had lunch in Laramie and the road was still closed to Cheyenne so we ended up going around to Fort Collins Colorado and then over to Cheyenne. We made it! I can't tell you how wonderful it was being together as a family for Christmas. It was wonderful!

"WEE"

Most kids I know are afraid of the vacuum especially if you try to chase them with it but not our McKenna. She chases the vacuum! We put her on the vacuum while using it at my mom's and she just started smiling and saying "wee"! She's hilarious!

Four Generations

I was so excited that my Aunt Mary came to visit! Aunt Mary is my dear Grandmother's sister and we call her Great Grandma Aunt Mary. I didn't realise that it was four generations until Aunt Mary told me. I was so excited! It is so awesome to see 4 generations right here! So cool! I love my Aunt Mary so much and love every single visit!

Yes, my mothers eyes are closed. My dear mother cannot take one picture with her eyes open. She's one of a kind and we love her dearly! Especially McKenna!

McKenna The Troublemaker!

It still amazes me how in a matter of seconds and yes, I mean seconds McKenna can get herself into quite a pickle! Oh, I couldn't even be mad it was hilarious! She dropped her baby ducky in the toilet and was trying to fish it out! More like playing I think! I always keep the bathroom door shut for this reason but I was looking for something and walked out for just 3 seconds and well, the rest is history!

I gave McKenna a sucker just to see what she would do with it and she LOVED it!

She's adorable!

HALLOWEEN

McKenna had a wonderful first Halloween! She was The Little Mermaid! Those of you who know me know that Ariel is my most favorite princess so you shouldn't be surprised that my baby girl was Ariel! :) It was a lot of fun for Josh and I to take her trick-or-treating. We didn't get to visit everyone that we wanted to because after a while she was done! So please don't be mad if we didn't make to your house. I tried! Here are some cute pictures though for everyone to enjoy!I love her smile!
She thought the pumpkin was fun.

Her dress was quite puffy so it was fun to watch her crawl around.

McKenna's Pumpkin

Josh and I carved a pumpkin with McKenna for her very first Halloween! She was of course fascinated with everything and she actually fell asleep before we even finished so we had to take her picture with the carved pumpkin the next day! What a gal! She is going to be The Little Mermaid for Halloween and I am very excited to take her trick-or-treating. I'll be sure to post some of those pictures soon!

McKenna is growing more beautiful everyday! She is getting close to walking and says "Hi" and "Daddy" and she waves hello and goodbye! She is so smart and Josh and I just love her so much! McKenna playing in the pretty leaves.
We tried pigtails and I had to take a picture! It's so funny! :)

You just gotta love this girl!

Uncles Mike and Aunt Sandy

We had a wonderful visit from Josh's Uncle Mike and Aunt Sandy from Ohio. We had a wonderful time visiting. We went to lunch and I heard a lot of fun stories of Josh when he was younger and visited them. It was so good for McKenna and I to finally meet them. They even brought McKenna the cutest little jacket and pants. Thanks again Aunt Sandy and Uncle Mike!

Our New Baby Nephew!!!

Finally our little nephew has arrived! My husbands sister Susi just had her baby this morning! 5 days late but he's here. He is beautiful!!! As I looked at the pictures of them on their blog I am full of emotion. It was only 8 months ago my first baby was born. So many memories and emotions. James and Susi will be amazing parents and I am so glad that they are experiencing similar emotions. That first moment when you hold your new baby, that first moment you hear them cry or look into your eyes. Its truly amazing and you just don't know until you have had one of your own. I love you James and Susi! His name is Haden James Tibbitts and he is 7Ibs 9 oz 20 inches long. He was born at 7:23 am. What a miracle!!!

Beautiful

It's just amazing to me how much she grows in just one short month. She learns to do so many things in just a short time. Even though she was born early she is not behind at all in her development. She is so beautiful and smart and Josh and I just can't get enough of her! I just bought her Halloween costume and I am very excited about it! She is going to be The Little Mermaid! Yay! She will be so adorable! We are excited for our first Halloween! She crawls all over and gets into EVERYTHING! But I love it! She is everywhere and loves it that she can be independent. She gets mad when she can't do what she wants because she is not big enough yet. She wants to be independent in every way. I wonder where she got that from? :)
She is very multi talented.

Adorable!!!

She sits up really good!

Funny McKenna

I can't believe how much McKenna has grown! She gets more and more beautiful everyday and she is so funny and playful. She is seven months now and can do so much. She brings such a beautiful spirit into our home and brings a smile to every ones face. Her Uncle Jared couldn't be more proud. He calls her Kenny and can't wait until she is big enough to go with him on the farm. I don't think McKenna can wait either. Just this week Josh was helping my brother on the farm hall some hay and straw so I took McKenna and went and rode in the semi with Josh and oh boy did she love it. She laughed every time we were in the bumpy fields and was in aw of all the tractors. She talked and laughed and played so hard she actually fell asleep! What a gal! McKenna's new thing is to stick her tongue out just like Uncle Jared did when he was a baby!
McKenna loves to eat cheerios!

McKenna can even drink from a cup! She has her very own sippy cup and drinks it by herself!

Chlarson Family Reunion

We all went to Victor Idaho to have our annual Chlarson Family Reunion and we all had a great time! We went up to a little camp site that was beautiful and had dutch oven chicken and potatoes mmm...mmm...good! It was a long 4 hour trip there and 4 hour trip home but McKenna only had one meltdown which was on the way home so I would say that was an excellent trip! Just some of my cute cousins and Aunt Jenny. It was beautiful there!

Cheyenne Frontier Days

This past week we went on our summer vacation to Cheyenne Wyoming to see Frontier Days with our friends Amanda and Thad Smith. When I found out that George Strait was going to be there we HAD to go! Yes, we got to see George in concert! It was awesome!!! In case you can't tell he is my favorite! We also got to see Sawyer Brown and let me tell you that was a very fun concert to see. We of course also went to the Rodeo which was very cool as well. We even surprised Josh's sister Becky and were able to have dinner with her and her family. It was so good to visit with them. Unfortunately we forgot our camera and didn't get a picture which we are quite sad about. :( None the less we had an awesome time! Josh and I.
Thad and Amanda.

PBR!!!

For those of you who do not know what the PBR is well....you're a loser! It is the Professional Bull Riders and let me tell you it was AWESOME!!! We of course saw the world champ and many other great riders as well as some mean and crazy bulls. We loved it!
It was so exciting to see the cowboys walk out into the arena.

BURNS WYOMING

When we went to Cheyenne for Frontier Days Josh and I had the Opportunity to go to Burns where he grew up. It was quite fun to hear him tell stories and see the places where he lived.

Here is the now empty lot where Josh's house used to be in Burns.

Here is where he buried his dog Rosie.

We went to the cemetery to see where Grandpa and Grandma
Wilderness are buried. It really meant a lot to Josh to be able
to go back to Burns.
This is what it looks like where Josh grew up and lived for most of his life.
I would miss my mountains.

First Time Swimming!!!!

Josh says this is before we told her we were going swimming.

After we told her we were going swimming.

McKenna sticking her feet in the water first time.

She absolutely LOVED the water!!!

She was so happy and content in the water. She was talking and kicking and splashing and it was so fun!!! She loves to take baths so I thought maybe she would like the water but I wasn't sure because the Willard Bay is not the same as a ducky bathtub. We went with my friend Amanda and her two little kids and had a blast! The top two pictures are of her tasting some real baby food for the first time. So far she loves Applesauce, Peaches and carrots.

Happy Late Father's Day!

I know this is late but I have to say Happy Father's Day to my wonderful husband, Dad, and Grandpa. I have been so blessed to have so many wonderful men in my life including my dear brother even though he is not yet a father. Josh finally got to see McKenna role across the floor. After she did it the first time for me she has never done it since. She just rolls onto her belly. He was so excited and kept egging her on and she was screaming and laughing and rolling over trying to get her daddy because he was teasing her. Josh is a wonderful father. Whenever McKenna sees her dad she thinks its play time! Even though Josh comes home from work extremely tired sometimes he never fails to help with McKenna. I know he will always be there for me and our kids no matter what. I love you honey!
