It's been forever since I updated my blog. I wish I would have taken some pictures from our Christmas, but unfortunately I dropped my camera when I was packing and it broke. Nobody else seemed to take any either.
We started out the holiday by going up to Ashley and Kasey's on Thursday night. Ashley and Kasey got sealed in the Salt Lake temple on Friday morning and we had a nice lunch at Ruby River after that. What a crazy/busy weekend but filled with lots of fun! It was fun to have Drex spend Christmas with us too!
On Christmas day we also got to skype with Derrick who is in Idaho Falls on his mission. It was fun to actually see him and all his cute expressions!
Fun was had by all, now its back to the reality of work for me! Kids are probably still home in bed!

Kitchen
This is what we have been living with pretty much since I bought the house, broken tiles on the island. So the Seller was going pay for it, well I finally got the money from her the first of the year and so here is the work in progress. They wanted over $600 just to remove the old countertops.

Of course since I believe in slave labor (my kids) here we are saving that $600! I bought about $100 worth of tools and we set out to work. Mackey put her Uggs on and was ready to go:) She actually did most of the demolishing until Drex showed up the next day to help do all the HEAVY stuff. There are no pictures of him because I wasn't there to supervise that day.

Projects!
Me and Bree spent the weekend doing some wood projects. This was hers. We went to Home Depot to get some supplies for my project and they have this awesome kids day every month and they get to build some pretty cool things.
She says, "Mom we need to make sure we go next month!"

This is her little message board once she got it all painted. It turned out cute.
This is a cut out in my house that I just didn't know what to do with. So my awesome brother-in-law came to visit one day and I asked him. He made me some shelves for it and now I have another place to put STUFF! I love it.
Here is the before and after.
Here is one project I did a while back for Mccall's bedroom that I think turned out awesome.

I have been trying to go through all my photos and do a little organization and these are some photos I wanted to share. I redid McCall's room and I have been wanting to do some other rooms. These are the rooms in my brother Stace's house. He is so good at woodwork and just about everything. I hope he doesn't care that I put these on here. I wish I had more pictures of the other rooms in his house. So here they are!

Stress!!
I realized I have been waiting to remember to download pictures to post anything, but I needed to vent! Work is so extremely stressful right now I can't stand it. They are messing with everybody's jobs and its looking like I will have not only a new job but probably be working nights as well. The frustrating part is that they know that economically nobody can do anything about it if we want to keep our jobs!
On a lighter note I decided to not go to school this semester. I am just going to enjoy being a mom and hopefully get to spend a little more time with my kids.
McCall started school today, she is going through all the fun stuff of adding and dropping classes and working out her schedule.
Bree is loving school this year, she has joined the 3rd grade choir and best of all she has a friend that lives in our neighborhood.
Megan is liking school or at least liking the fact that she gets to hang out with her friends all day.
I wish life was as easy as just going to school each day, no job, no worries!
