The big race

Carson ran in the Paulding Middle School Invitational this week.  He had a great time and ran the lap so fast!  It was a great experience!

Carson got out his tinker toys and wanted to build an airplane. so this is what we came up with!

swim

Carson and Brooklyn tried out for swim team a couple weeks ago and they are loving it!  They can go up to 3 times a week,  The pool they swim in for swim lessons is a little warmer than the AG high school pool, where they swim for puma cubs but they don't seam to mind!  I have not been able to watch them yet because I have school on the nights that they go to swim, but I get to hear all about it!

Ashlyn and the Barn

Kelli took some pic of Ashlyn while she was over there one day!  Super /Cute!!!

The Barn is our favorite place this time of year!  The hay maze was so fun and we finally made it all the way through!  We rode the tractor out to the apples and picked some and then on to the pumpkins.  It was a fun afternoon!

Football

If you are unaware, it is FOOTBALL season!  The Chargers were playing last night and we were sitting on the couch watching the game and down came 3 chargers football players.  Carson had rounded up the girls and got them to wear his chargers shirts for the game.  They were so excited, they wore them until bed time, except Ashlyn cause her helmet was way to big! 

Pink Sparklers

 Soccer this year had been a lot of fun!  Brooklyn is loving playing and is doing pretty well!  Her team name is the Pink Sparklers.  Carson's team is called Ninjago, I am his coach so I have not been able to get any pics yet.  I will get some before the end of the season!

Kids

 Silly kids!  There was a sale on cereal at the store so I bought a few :)  and the kids love to make walls around their breakfast spots.  I used to do the same thing with my siblings!  Fun times!  And who can resist the berry fingers!

Camping

Camping for a night sounded like a great idea!  It turned out to be just that!  We drove out to Lopez Lake and set up camp.  The kids rode scooters and played soccer.  We had hotdogs and smores around the campfire and then the kids went to bed.  In the morning C, B and A and Grant were up really early so I took them for a walk down to the lake.  We saw a lot of deer really close up, and there were a bunch of wild turkeys that ran right through our camp.  We all had a great time and plan on camping again soon!

Avila Barn is a great place to spend the morning hours while the older two are in school.  Ashlyn loves feeding the animals and going on tractor rides to pick apples!
