Giving Thanks....

I stole this off of a few of my friends blogs and I thought it would be a fun thing to do considering Thanksgiving is just around the corner!

Some things that I am most Thankful for:
-Of course my family is number one, and really if there was nothing else on the list I would be fine as long as I had my cute boys and family close to me!

-The gospel and the strength it brings to me every day
-Our home and the great neighborhood we live in (Have I ever mentioned I live in the best neighborhood ever?)
-Thursdays, because my husband is home and we get to spend time together
-Cereal with frozen blueberries in it, which is usually what I have for breakfast and lunch.
-Kisses from my boys
-Church and Christmas music
-Girls nights and chick flicks
-Lower gas prices
-Fireplaces
-Vacations (even just camping up the mountains)
-Bed time and nap time
-Photography and getting the perfect shot!
-Shopping trips to Gardner Village, TaiPan or Target
-Lasagna
-Lunch at Olive Garden
-Home made rolls and Thanksgiving dinner! I was in charge of making the rolls this year (scary considering it was only the second time I have attempted this!) But Ethan totally got into it, he even put on the apron we made him!

(It seems like almost everything I love centers around food!)
-A great marriage and awesome husband
-Old friends that when you see each other, you pick up right where you left off!

-and last but not least Blogging!

I got some shots of Ethan the other day for his big birthday, so I thought I would put a few on here! (He chose the outfit as you can tell!)

The BIG Birthday Boy...

Aunt Michelle called to wish Ethan Happy birthday, and when she got to the part of, you look like a monkey and you smell like one too- he just cracked up laughing, he thought that was so funny...

He wants to put this costume on the minute he wakes up and wants to wear it every where he goes!

He got so many fun present! Anything and everything that a little boy could want, and he loves them all. James and I got him some super hero costumes that he wants to wear everywhere we go and a transformer that for some reason he thinks Santa brought!

Family Pictures...

I've been wanting to get some family pictures on the golf course near our house, but i'm not good enough at setting up a tripod, so I finally asked our neighbor Laila to come take some for us-this is how they turned out! I really like them. It was freezing cold and the wind was blowing really hard, and with the new time change James had to leave work early and we nearly missed the sunlight... but we managed to snap a few, thanks again Laila!

The CHRISTMAS tree!

So as most of you know- I am a total Christmas FINATIC! I love everything about the season, but most of all I love going with my family in search of the perfect Christmas tree. We normally go up to Heber, but this year we decided to go down to Boulder mountain, because you can cut as many as you want down there and we wanted two trees for our house this year. It snows a lot down there so we wanted to get down there as early as possible so that we didn't get stuck in the snow! We went last weekend and had such a good time. The hotel we stayed in had tennis courts and a huge outdoor hot tub with a beautiful view of the huge red cliffs of Capitol Reef. I think we sat in the hot tub 3 times in 2 days! It was so fun and although the tree is not perfect it looks great to us! It is taking all of the strength that I have not to just haul it in my house and decorate, I am trying to hold off for a few more weeks, but trust me when I do get it in and get it decorated- there will be pictures on the blog!

More Halloween...

My little BANANA-
My little MONKEY-

Ethan and Landon and Grandma Claras house on Halloween, she grew these huge pumpkins so we had to get some pics with them-
Pretty much one of the only pictures I have of Landon smiling in his costume-
Do you think that Landon likes licorice? Trust me when this kid has a treat in his hand you do not want to take it- he is already starting to get his dads temper and had knows how to get what he wants!
Landon once again loving his costume...
Ethan Doing some serious Trick-or-Treating...
We had such a fun Halloween, it started with running errands and visiting dad down at work, then we went over to aunt Michelle's house and went Trick or Treating and ate some pizzas. Then we came home and put the kids to bed early and watched a few scary movies with some friends- it was some good times!
