Meet the teacher night

Last week we had the chance to go to Bentley's school as a family. We met her teacher, Mrs. Whall, who was as sweet as ever. Bentley walked around the room looking for her name that was posted multiple times around the classroom. She had such a great time and even got up the courage to ask a few little girls what their names were. Bentley's biggest concern with going to school is other students being nice on the playground. She keeps telling me, "If I am playing with someone and they are being mean to someone I am going to say 'Hey that is not nice, please don't do that,' then walk away." Her little spirit is robust at times, but very sweet and innocent. I hope she can always stay like that.

Happiest birthday Kam and Grandma

It was such a great year this year, spent the day snowboarding and eating delicious cake Alyssa made. We loved every second of going up north and spending time together as a family in the colder weather.

5 years

Five years ago, Kamron and I were wed. We always enjoy doing a family date during the day of our anniversary with our girls. We took them to the Mesa temple. Kam tells the girls the story of how he proposed to me, and then we talk about our sweet wedding day. I hope we continue on this tradition each year, teaching the girls about the importance of family and how special it was for us to get married in the temple. Hopefully they will be lucky enough to marry someone as great as their dad. After our family date I had to steal Kam away for some ice skating and dinner. Happy anniversary sweetheart.

Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam

Bentley has moved up from nursery to Primary. I cant believe our little girl is a Sunbeam. She was so ready and absolutely loves being in Primary. The Primary chorister came up to me and told me how much she loved hearing Bentley sing at the top of her lungs, even if she didn't know the words to the songs. We are so proud of our little sweetie, she may be the smallest of the bunch but she sure has the biggest spirit. 

A new year coming

A new year is ahead and I cant wait to see what comes. These girls are playing more and more each day and they love each other more than ever. They girls are best friends, every time Sophie wakes up for a nap Bentley insists on going to get her. 2013 please be good to us, we are excited to see what you hold.

Christmas 2012

Christmas this year was wonderful! We were in Snowflake all week and had to drive home Christmas Eve. It was fun for us to put the girls in bed and watch Santa put Bentley's bike together. We had the chance to spend time together early in the morning before Kam went to work. Bentley got a pink bike and Sophie got a little baby doll of her own. There is nothing more magical than being able to spend Christmas time with family. These little girls sure have our hearts!

Christmas Pictures

Christmas pictures this year were very entertaining. Sweet Kam is so patient when it comes to taking pictures. No husband really likes taking pictures, especially pictures two different times. So thanks kam, for being a trooper. Bentley sure loves hamming up the camera too :)
