So, it's been an interesting holiday. We went to Washington to visit my parents and while we were there, our dishwasher went crazy, it wasn't even on, but it exploded with a vengeance and flooded our house. We've had to replace a large portion of the kitchen floor and our Christmas tree has spent a large portion of time squeezed into the corner while our fridge and oven moved from their usual spots, to the middle of our dining room. Our kitchen island, along with our beloved kitchen sink, made it's way to the garage.
With our lovely and oh so missed range I was able to do this (a complete Christmas turkey meal for 10- only minus the cranberry sauce!)
And also this:
Christmas eve ham.
But we are basically back to zero again as we finish up the last parts of the floor refinishing. ONly one more weekend without my range. But getting rather creative with the microwave, rice cooker, and crock pot!
