oh the wonders of technology.
people use the internet to read articles, stalk people on blogs/tweets, watch movie and yada yada yada. but the best part about the internet is that it draws people from thousands of miles together! especially when you're down.
God brought friends into our lives not to just make it more exciting, but to be there to hold you up when you're at a low pit in life.

feels really good to be home. eating all the good food, sleeping on comfy bed, driving instead of walking or taking a bus, meeting up with all the people i miss! mmmm. best feeling ever! :)

finally classes are OVER! :) but final exams are coming up soon and i REALLY need to stop procrastinating and start studying. was talking to lilkoh the other day and told him i needed more stress to motivate myself to study. and he said...

but God has been so good to me! Indeed He knows whats best for me, what to do to make me feel better, to help me through the things i'm facing. He blessed me with great friends! Even though we're thousand of miles apart, in different time zones, somehow He still uses them to assure me of His love and their love to me! :)
it was a random day when my roommate decided to check the mailbox. to my surprise, there was a mail for me! my roommate passed this nice postcard to me. it was from my dearest twin! :)
Thank you, Twinnie! You really know how to make me smile and remind me always of God's love and promises. Thank you so much for praying with me. You've been so awesome to me since the day i came over to Canada. :) Wait for my postcard! It might come anytime! hehe.

Another random day, i decided to check the mailbox after chem lab exam. to my surprise there was a slip inside saying i've got a package! i thought it was the shoe i bought a few days ago. to my surprise, it was a LOVE package from Queen!! :)
Thank you, Queen! All the food inside looked so YUMMY i was so tempted to eat the sweets when i saw it. but i had to control. You're gonna make me so fat! :p Thank you for making me feel so loved and cared for during this stressful exam period! Talking and listening to all my rants. haha. You're the best!

On a random note, during Easter break i cooked my own steak and "home-cooked style" food for myself! not as nice as mummy's cooking, but it's better than nothing. :)
Finally, Wing Hang, Justin and I managed to webcam together! oh the joy of technology! hahaha. (thank you Jamie for introducing it to me!) it was great catching up with both of u at the same time. reminded me so much of the times we spent together last time. miss it! we should do this more often before our trial period ends! i'm still amazed how we got so close in just a few months and still maintaining it. :) ♥ you guys!

getting sick when you're far away from home is horrible. no mummy to tuck you in bed, check on you in the middle of the night, boil herbal tea, make funny drinks that she read from emails/books/heard from friends/own creation for you so that you'll get better soon. sigh. this is the time when I miss home the MOST. sigh.

It's time to revive this dead blog!
After one week of holiday, it still feels like my body needs a longer break. first wave of midterms just finished before the holiday, second wave of midterm coming up again. uugghhh. BUT! the faster i get over all these midterms, the faster my finals will come, the sooner i get to go HOME!
aaaahhh. HOME! i miss home. that familiar smell i wake up to every morning, eating all the yummy food that u can't get at this end of the world, meeting up with all the lovable people i know. *dreams* soon. SOON!
after a stressful first semester, this was how i spent my winter break and started my 2nd semester!

went to the frozen river near campus for a walk after a stressful and heart pain January... sigh.
First CNY away from home! miss all the cookies and house visitation but i made-do with what i have and went to Chinatown! CNY is never complete without lion dance and firecrackers!
