...how i love me some reba

alright ya'll. a little known fact about me is how much i absolutely love reba! i love her singing so i started to watch her sitcom when isaac was little. every time the theme song (i'm a survivor) came on isaac would whip his head around and stop fussing or stop playing to listen and enter a trance. i knew he recognized it because i would try to trick him with our dvr. he fell for it every time! if i was watching an episode when he was sleeping i would have to mute it during the theme song or he would wake up. it's pretty hilarious. he's done this with a few commercials, too...the "five dollar foot long" and "there aint no bugs on me" to name a few. anyway, it's been a month or two since i've watched her show since i've seen everyone made so far so i turned one on for old time's sake. and just as the theme song played, isaac whipped his head around to see the tv and his bff reba singing her great survivor song! he was in a trance! you go reba! so i just thought, since i was in the shout out mood, i'd give reba a shout out. i'm pretty sure if she knew me she'd love me just as much as i love her. maybe i should see if she has a fan club i can join. she's pretty much awesome and i love her.

...dreams

so i had some interesting dreams last night. i'm left wondering if excercise in dreams can count for the real thing. i'd like to give a shout out to sohn-burger for giving me a run for my money in climbing that super steep hill (this is my dream, mind you...). it was like an obstacle course and this hill we had to climb at the very end was so steep i had to dig my nails in to the dirt to get any sort of traction...i thought i was going to win, but he beat me out in the end...BARELY! and a shout out to tanya for that super cool shirt you got at pier 1...seriously, pier 1 guys? i think the thing i love most about dreams are the randomness. one second you're in a car with an amish family and the next you're on a jetski with your third grade teacher. it's so crazy, but anyway...i woke up feeling refreshed and excited that i got to see my friends. even if it is only in my dreams!

...man of many faces

i just can't get enough of all isaac's faces! he is just such a hilarious little boy and i love him more than i could ever have imagined! i love waking up to see his little face and i love how he puts his little arms around my neck. ok, i just love everything about him...

it's midnight, do you know where your kids are?

so isaac's been staying up really late lately. he'll take one nap during the day and then another around 7 or 9pm. i don't really mind because then i can stay up late and watch tv and luckily for me, he's been waking up late too. i would so much rather stay up late and wake up late than go to bed early and get up early! ok so i had to take this picture to show just what my house looks like after a long day of playing. i already picked it up a couple times, but it never lasts. you know how it goes. anyway, i just thought it was funny to see what in the world isaac has been doing at midnight. enjoy!

my uncle kept telling me i should get a picture of isaac in the sink. i guess it's a classic baby picture everyone should have. anyway, here it is! thanks for the push, uncle scott! isaac has so many faces, he just constantly cracks us up. click on the third picture to see his crazy eyes. he didnt mean to do this, of course, but you know we all have pictures of us like this that we wont ever share so i'm doing it for him :) how sweet of me, huh?

new shoes!

ok so i HAD to replace my old ratty pair of payless shoes. i was wearing them everywhere and they never matched anything...and they were disgusting! so i got a new pair of every-outfit shoes...here they are. i got them about a month ago and now they're starting to stink! dangit! oh well, i still really like them. maybe i'll just spash some baking soda in there....

so last weekend i went to visit one of my bestest friends tanya. she lives in hillsboro these days so i drove up there and spent the night with her and little lucy. it was so much fun, i could hardly contain myself! she took these amazing pictures of isaac. he was so cute for the camera...and i'm sure it's because he just loves his aunt tanya :) thanks for the great time tanya...and all the great food!
