KoM, 16 years
And this blog is 16 years old.
To celebrate this anniversary, I chose "Reggatta de Blanc". It is one of the most amazing songs of the band Police. It is the result of some jamming practiced in the middle of extended versions of "Can't Stand Losing You" during concerts. It was recorded as a song and included in the Police's second album and giving it its title, supposedly meaning White Reggae.
Here they are, the Police, playing it in the middle of "Can't Stand Losing You", 1stly in 1979 and 2ndly in 2007, in a video recorded by me.

on Rolls Rock - p e r m a f r r r o s t
In late 70's and early 80's, Magazine's music was unknown worldwide, apart of the punk followers in UK, and mostly broadcasted there by John Peel in BBC.
I'm sure that António Sérgio (AS) was the only person in Portugal playing that band on the radio back then. I remember AS presenting the early Magazine's brand new albums: Real Life (1978), Secondhand Daylight (1979), The Correct Use of Soap (1980) and Play (live 1980). But the most terrific song of them all, was this one:
Above, live at the Peel Sessions. Peel passed away 14 years ago, last October 25th.
From 1980 to 1982, António Sérgio daily radio show was called Rolls Rock. AS passed away exactly 9 years ago.

After a long search, I finally found the disappeared clip I posted here 4 years ago, and more in other places.
But I love this so much, I'm going to post it again :D
