finals

The word "finals" has taken on a whole new meaning this month. It seems everything we do is a "final" time before we leave. On labor day we did our traditional family day at Bear Lake. It was cold but you can't tell by these crazy kids playing in the water anyway. Dave and Lucy with Marley

The night before our "farewell" we had a family cook out at Mack Park

We were surprised to have Jordan show up, we didn't think he was going to come.

Todd also came from California. Here he is trying to talk Robin into a foot rub

Kim and Frank made it by the skin of their teeth, they thought it was the

next week! They packed and drove from Durango in less than 24 hours.

The 3 winners of our own Biggest Loser club. Between them they lost 145 poundes

Shawn actually won the contest by a hair. His prize was getting to cook this dinner for all of us !!!

Family Camp

Once again we had a great camping reunion. I only got my camera out one day so I don't have many pictures but luckily we have Nicky to take care of us. She has some really good pictures on hr facebook page. Check it out.Here's proof we did have sun at least on that one day. Trav andKameron

Life after the mission call

As everyone knows I love my yard and flowers and I think I'm going to miss them so I took pictures.

This one I must admit I didn't raise myself, it was a mothers day gift

Last week we went with Nicky and Jaron 4 wheeling in the mountains. The wild flowers were beautiful

This past weekend Kent and I took a few days and went to Yellowstone with stops in Jackson and West Yellowstone. It was fun and relaxing. The animals were scarce except Bison and Elk.

The grand canyon is so beautiful it looks like a painting. I even hiked down to the falls!

This is Quake Lake formed by the big earthquake in 1959. We are old enough to remember it!

The long awaited day finally arrived ! Here is that big white official envelope We waited all day for the family to join us in opening it. We were surprised to have Lisa and Erin show up, Lisa was up to BYUI with Erin for mothers week. Good timing!! Thanks for coming
