Deep Thoughts of Children

KK (my BFF's daughter) is staying the night with KL tonight. They seem to have some deep thoughts when they get together! I have posted several blogs about their conversations and questions to me. Here is tonight's transcription...

KL: Momma, are all old people ancestors?

Me: (Wanting to keep this conversation short and sweet) I guess so at some point if you have children. (I haven't been feeling well and was hoping this would just tie their conversation up and they would be happy.)

(Pause)

KL: So are you an ancestor then?

Me: (SILENCE WAS THE ONLY RESPONSE!)
