Audrey at 7 months

Me and Daddy at the Beach.

Audrey is well into her 7th month. We are now experiencing pulling herself up on our furniture but now not only standing but cruising around. She is also very much curious about the world around her. She pulls everything out of place especially my laptop keys which I have lost already the CTRL and Shift key. She likes to grab onto me and hang on my body when we are on the play mat. We just moved so our house is bigger and Audrey has her own bedroom to play in. She is all over the house now crawling and investigating.
Giving Daddy a massage.

To keep us busy, we have been also taking swim lessons with our baby group friends. Audrey likes the water. Still getting used to having water touch her face but gets better every time. We also have learn to slide into the water from the side of the pool. Aaron has also been teaching Audrey sign language through some DVDs we bought.

Practicing my sign language.

I have also rented some toys for her here in Singapore. Its a great system. They deliver to our house and pick-up. We rent by the month and we don't have to store anything. Toys in Singapore are also very expensive and the babies use them for such a short time.
Enjoying my rented toys.

Besides that we have started our solid food last month. Audrey has been eating okay. She still prefers milk from mom versus the food. We have been trying carrots, sweet potatoes, pears, apples, peas, pumpkin, squash, oatmeal, rice, avocado, bannana, chicken with sweet potatoes, and some other flavors. Oh! and by the way, she has one tooth now.
This eating business is more difficult than I thought.

Brushing my first tooth.

Halloween in Singapore

Happy Halloween from Singapore!!!

Audrey had her first Halloween Party. I doubt she knew what it was but all she cared about was playing with the toys. This week's baby group was at Kaelan's house and his mom Jessica did a really cool and spooky Halloween Party.

Audrey wore two costumes. One for the hot weather here which ironically was her ice skater costume. The second one was her real Halloween costume which was a pumpkin. Thanks to Jessica's air conditioning, we were able to put it on. She looked soooo cute in both costumes.

Her friends were also really cute....

Spider Zayden

Kyle the Skeleton

Isabella the Bake Fairy (her mother's company)

Unicorn Samantha

Bam Bam Henry

Willem the Cow

Kaelan the Caterpillar

It took a lot of patience to get this picture.

Finally we got all 8 babies

This week's baby group was quite momentous. We have been trying for about 5 1/2 months now to get all the babies together at baby group. Can you believe that it was the first time since Audrey's birth to do so. This is a great picture but it took about 9 different pictures to try to get the babies to all look at the camera. Gone are the days of just putting them in a circle and having them lay still.
The babies had a lot of fun playing with each other...

Audrey Now 5 months old

Ms. Audrey has been quite busy lately with her social life not realizing that she is now 5 months old. Here are a few things that she has been up to.

Audrey attended her first birthday party for her friend Zayden. Zayden is 6 months old so he had a half birthday party. It was fun with party favors, cake, hats and toys to play.

Audrey got to use an Exersaucer for the first time at this week's baby group. She had a lot of fun playing with it. This one was very pink and it had lots of girl stuff like a purse, a teapot, flowers, etc. which was great because there were 4 baby girls that day.

However, it was soooooo appealing that Kaelan, the only boy in the group that day also enjoyed it as well.

Singapore recently celebrated a mid-autumn celebration called Hari Raya Puasa. Our building had a party and it consisted of food, games, music, etc. Aaron was picked to participate in a game where he had to read out a chinese poem. With the help of some chinese tenants, Aaron one first prize for his reading. Yeah!! and Audrey stood up in front of all the group with her father while he did his reading.

Audrey and Friends

Miss Audrey has been a social butterfly lately with baby groups, lunch dates, and swimming at the American Club. She has been a busy girl. Her mom can not keep up with her. Her social life is totally booked.
This was a recent playgroup at her friend, Zayden's home. Lots of toys and so little time.
Audrey and her friend Isabella. Audrey has been really good at holding her head up now while she lays on her stomach.
She can even have an intimate moment with her friend Zayden. Audrey, daddy says "no boys yet." Holding hands is okay for now.

Above are pictures from the American Club here in Singapore. They recently built a unique children's section for the swimming area. Audrey had a lot of fun there. She kicked and kicked and kicked and kicked. Her friends really had a lot of fun as well.

Weekend Getaway From the Baby

Recently, Lara and her "Mommy" friends decided to take a break from the babies and kids at home and do something for themselves. Aaron and the fathers took care of Audrey and her friends at home. The getaway was at Sentosa (a small island attached to the main island of Singapore). Just a 20 minute drive from their homes. The "mommies" stayed at the Sentosa Resort and Spa. They had a spa day of massages and fun at the spa pools. At night, dinner and drinks at the Cliff Restaurant.

They had tons of fun especially with a late night pajama party in one of the rooms. Afterwards, Lara finally got a very good night sleep. She did not know the last time she had slept so well. It was a great idea.

To the left is a "mommy group" picture. Clockwise mommies: Samantha's, Willem's, Neetu's, Audrey's and Isabella's.
