My mom-in-law made this and I thought it was absolutely delicious. She passed on the recipe with the warning that it makes 2 9x13 pans worth, so if I want just enough for my family, I'd better half it. Hope you like it as much as I did!
2 lb. lean stew meat
8 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
4 stalks celery, cut into chunks
2 cups small carrots
2 packages onion soup mix
2 cans tomato soup
salt & pepper according to taste
Mix all together and bake at 250 for five hours or place in crockpot on high for one hour and 6-8 hours on low.

BBQ Chicken Drumsticks
3 lbs. chicken drumsticks
1.5 c. bottled barbecue sauce
1/4 c. honey
2 teaspoons yellow mustard
1.5 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1. Place drumsticks on unheated rack of a broiler pan. Broil 4-5 inches from the heat for 15-20 minutes or until lightly brown, turning once. Place drumsticks in a 3.5 or 4 quart slow cooker.
2. Combine barbecue sauce, honey, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce; pour over drumsticks.
3. Cover; cook on low for 3-4 hours or on high from 1.5-2 hours. The recipe says it makes 8 servings but I think it's more like 4-6 (if adults) by the time each adult has 2 drumsticks.
My family (again, including Garrison and Lorelei who get their chicken taken off the bone) loves this recipe and I always serve it over rice and pour the extra sauce from the crock pot onto individual servings of the rice.

Campbell's Easy and Delicious Pot Roast
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 pouch dry onion soup mix
6 small red potatoes, cut in smallish chunks (I usually use more because I love potatoes)
6 medium carrots, cut into 2-inch pieces (I use lots of baby carrots because I love carrots, too)
3-3.5 lb. roast
Stir the soup, onion soup mix, potatoes, and carrots ina 4.5 qt. (I used a 6 qt. to fit in my extra veggies) slow cooker. Add the beef and turn to coat. Cover and cook on low 8-9 hours or on high 4-4.5 hours.
The best part about this recipe is that you don't have to do anything to the meat first to make it ready to stick in the crockpot and it still is so soft that it falls apart and is perfectly seasoned in my opinion. As a testament, even Garrison and Lorelei kept coming back for more and more meat (and they're not always the biggest fans), even when it was leftovers.

Some of Emily's Recipes
So I have some of my recipes typed in my Photoshop program (Cammie has more), so I thought I'd upload some of them as pictures. If you click on them to enlarge them you can see the recipe better. Also, if you save the recipe to your computer like you would a picture you can print it easier. Hopefully this makes sense! I'll keep posting any that I have! You too Cammie!!
This is a yummy and super easy casserole. I love to put ketchup on it! I have to admit, it's not Jesse's fave, but my siblings and I all loved it growing up!

This is probably one of my favorites! These are the best chicken nuggets! I will make them and serve them with roasted potatoes...yum!
This is super yummy in the spring or summer.
These muffins are a Brown family tradition for Christmas Eve. We have them with the Turkey soup (below) and they are an absolute fave!

And finally, we ate this every Christmas Eve my whole life. I made it this past Christmas only using a rotisserie chicken instead...it was just as good. Just pull off all the meat and use the carcass to get the broth, then use the meat in the soup! Way yummy!
