Happy Halloween

We had a fun day this Halloween. We got our first snow of the year in the morning so Morgan and I went
out to play for his first time. I think he had fun, except for the few times he fell trying to walk through the snow covered leaves.

Tacie also had a first that day. She rolled over front to back for the first time! She wasn't to happy but she did it a few times. She even did it again that night for dad to see!

Here's a pic with her looking a bit happier.

On saturday we had supper and did some pumpkin carving with the Cooper's! We had a lot of fun together. We love having them living so close!

Morgan did not like getting the pumpkin guts on his hands!

Here are the finished products! Nice work everybody!
it goes: Clay's, Spencer's, Madi's, Morgan's, Malcolm's

Here we are ready to go get some candy at the church!

It was freezing cold out, so we didn't last too long.
Morgan had a lot more fun inspecting and eating his loot!

Our first family photo!!

We had a really fun Halloween!!

Update - we are still here

We have a computer again, so i guess i had better update. I can't believe the summer is about over, it has gone by pretty quick with everything going on.

Back in June guess who turned ONE!!
Chad has been doing as much riding as he can this summer and Morg loves it when he gets to ride as well!
We went to Drumheller with my family and had a great time playing at the spray park and going to the museum. The cousins have so much fun together!

And the most exciting news of all...
Our newest addition miss Tacie Rae arrived August 12! She is a wonderful baby, sleeps a lot and has a lot of cute smiles to give. She is a strong baby like her big brother was and lifts her head to try and look around.
Morgan wasn't to sure of her at first but now he can't get enough snuggling and kissing her. He is a good big brother and Tacie will definitely be a tough girl because of him!

SAMW

I dont do this samm thing but tonight we tried this new recipe and we really liked it. If you like peanut sauce try it out, it's super fast and cheap.

Peanut sauce:
In a small sauce pan combine:
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
3 Tbsp soy sauce
3 Tbsp water
2 Tbsp oil
1 tsp minced garlic
Heat on medium until sugar dissolves.
Wraps:
Ingredients:
8 {10"} flour tortillas
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp pepper
12 oz. chicken breast - cut into strips
1 Tbsp. oil
1 package {4 cups} broccoli slaw
1 medium red onion - cut into thin wedges
1 tsp. ginger - grated

In a large skillet, cook chicken in oil with garlic salt and pepper.
Add broccoli, onion, and ginger to skillet.
Cook and stir 3-4 minutes.

Serve with warm tortillas and peanut sauce.

**I didnt put the ginger in cause I didn't have any (and I discovered Chad doesn't Like it), and it still tasted good.
**I also put some sauce in with the veggies while cooking, I thought it looked dry, worked great!

Update

Well it has been forever since i updated this thing, but we haven't been up to anything exciting enough to warrant a report. Chad's still really busy trying to finish up his parents house and he is framing a cabin in Waterton as well so he's putting in a lot of long days.
Morgan and I don't do much but hang out at home. Here are a few pics i've taken lately so you can see how he's growing.

He is getting good at walking with this toy. He thinks it's pretty funny.
