Valentine's Day

The girls going to school with their Valentine boxes that they made. Gracie wanted to do a plantar box with flowers and this is what we came up with. Audrey whispered secretly in my ear that her Valentine was daddy. I'll share him with her. She is his 2nd biggest fan after me.

Gabe received 9 cookies from admirers at school! He was pretty stoked. He had already eaten and shared some so there's not as many in the pic but you get the idea. It must be the Justin Beiber comb forward "do" although he denies he's trying to look like him. I hate how it hides all his cute cowlicks. He even has pink elastics on his braces for V-day.

Primary Pioneer Parade-July 24th

Our Primary has a tradition of a parade with all the kids. The ward members line up along the route and cheer, throw candy, etc. The parade was led by a cop car with its' sirens on. The kids all decorated their bikes, etc.
Eli was part of the band and we even had a covered wagon and handcart.
We had a party after the parade, complete with tug of war, jump rope contests, 3 legged races, and lots of yummy homemade food.
Girls vs Boys. And we all know girls rule and boys drool!
Gabe's pretty good at double dutch. They also did limbo and high jump contests.
Lindsay Clark is our Primary president and is full of fun and kindness. Our whole presidency is awesome. Thanks guys. Great party.
Steve's team won every time because he is so awesomely strong and a man's man!
Steve is impressing us with his ability to juggle golf balls while eating.

The boys room makeover

Before
After
We decided to paint the boys room, which was previously painted with dark, oil-based paint. We ended up replacing the carpet and getting a ceiling fan. The best part was all the dejunking we did. We filled up 3/4 of our city garbage can. Let's just say that it's a little easier to keep their room clean. The boys say it feels much calmer.

Sundance Full Moon Ski Lift RIde

We went to Sundance for their full moon ski lift ride. It was fun. They offer it several times during the summer when there's a full moon.

Hope of America

Gabe was chosen by his teacher for the Hope of America Award. This is an award given to the student who represents the ideals of America. It is based on citizenship and character. He also received several other academic awards. We are blessed to have such a great kid in our home. He brings us a lot of joy.

A FUN Summer Night with some very fun people!

Time to catch up!!! Even though these pics are old, I still thought they were fun.
Our cute neighbor, Lindsay, held a dance class during the summer and then had a dance showcase for the kids to show off all they had learned. After the show we had a dance and jump roping, etc. It was a total blast. Thanks Lindsay!

Warming up with pushups. Jane did awesome in the ring.

Lydia's got the moves. There is obviously some natural genetic talent passed down from her mom.

Audrey just kept up with the rest of them.

Grace and Libby kickin it.
Lydia isn't the only one with the moves. Buggy's got groove.

Rick and Katie. Go John.

Gabe would have loved the 80's.
Eli is too cool to dance. Not going to happen.

Lindsay has a broken foot but still is dancing with crutches.
Bobbie and Grace double dutching duo.

Jane doesn't need her legs to jump. She just levitates.

Steve showing his mad skills.

Rick's rocking the ropes!
Haley just had twins!

Jesse jumps!

Gabe doing the gorilla.

Leaping Libby.

Eli elevates elegantly.

Lindsay is one of those people who is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.
We love her and her family. Thanks for teaching us to dance.
Sleepover on the tramp!!! They set up a TV and watch videos too.
