Where are the Christmas pics?

Sorry, I don't have the Christmas pictures yet. Through a terrible oversight which was mostly no ones fault, the camera never made it to Christmas. (Ok, I forgot it. Like you've never forgotten something while packing three kids--the twins and me.) Anyway, I'm waiting for a cd with pics from Nana's camera. Hopefully I'll have them up next week. In the mean time I've posted a couple other recent pics from my interstate impaired camera.

In other news, Matt has a new game up called "Ryan's Adventure," which is based very loosely on a true story (if I remember right). You can go check it out at Matt's website by clicking the link to the right of this screen that says, descriptively enough, "Matt's Website." Look under the games menu for a graphic/start button that looks pretty much exactly like Ryan. There are some other great new clips/games/etc that Matt has posted on his site as well.

Reid Learns To Grab Stuff

Gage and Reid are still doing well. They just had a doctor's appointment and are both around 24.5 inches tall. Gage is 13 lbs 8 oz and Reid is 12 lbs 14 oz. Gage may be bigger in weight, but his head is smaller than Reid's--Gage is in the 10th percentile for head size and Reid is in the 25th percentile. Overall, the boys have gained some ground. At least they are now on the chart (they weren't at their 2 month checkup).

The boys are learning too. I've posted a little video of Reid grabbing a toy. He just started doing that today.

3 1/2 Months

The boys are three and a half months old, and they are getting a little easier (but they sill take an inordinate amount of energy). They are starting to grab things and to recognize common items (bottles, etc). I hope you like these most recent photos.

They Are Getting Bigger!

Well, it has been one hard week with the boys, but they are doing well. They are putting on weight at the appropriate rate now, which is a relief. They are also starting to get a lot more interactive, particularly Gage. He acknowledges to us when we talk to him now, which is a lot of fun. We hope you all are well.

Reid Smiles Too

Reid has started smiling now, so I thought I'd post that too.

The boys had their two month appointment last friday, and unfortunately they aren't growing that well. Reid had put on the minimal amount of weight possible to be considered in the normal range, and Gage wasn't even on the chart. So, we've started supplementing them this week. They have another appointment next week to see how they are progressing. Both boys are now 7 lbs. 12 oz. Obviously Reid has been working hard to catch up to his brother, but Gage is still half an inch taller.

Sorry the site has been having a few issues. That is why you see little boxes (instead of pictures) in some of the posts. If you click on the boxes it links you to the pic.

In the mean time, the boys are doing great. They finally learned to sleep in the crib--after a couple of nights of whining about it. Thursday was the first night they ever went back in the crib during the middle of the night. They still aren't sleeping many hours at a time, but they are doing well.

Also, the boys have begun to smile and make non-crying noises. We caught this smile of Gage on video. Sorry the recording is a little dark.

Matt's New Site

Hey everyone,

Matt has recently updated his website. He has a great new Star Wars clip under the movies menu. He is also working on a Star Wars Lego movie I'm told. I'm looking forward to it.

Also, if you look up "Lego Lord of the Rings" on video.google.com you'll see that Matt has received four and a half out of five stars by viewers who rated that clip. Great job bud.

Nanna Saves the Day

Mom left Tuesday, so the boys don't have their nanna anymore. They're missing her and so are we. It is amazing how much support she gave us. Thanks Mom.
