Jay is now 2! I can't believe I have a 2 year old. I must say the last month has been HARD! Jay turned into a monster and was throwing insane tantrums, not eating, hitting Deja, and seriously exploring what is in his diaper. But the last week, my little boy reminded me how sweet he really is. I just hope it stays! Here are a few of his 2 year old pictures. I also took a few of his scar. It is looking so good! He will have plastic surgery in a few months to get rid of some of the scar tissue. But I can't believe how good it looks!
I also took a few of our beautiful little Deja. She is now 5 weeks old and her eyes are getting more and more like Matt's everyday. Rachelle you wanted to see some of her eyes, well here they are!

Introducing Deja Bell
Introducing Deja Bell Nuttall
December 24th, 2009
8 lbs, 20 oz
1:19 pm
She made it! Early Christmas Eve morning, I started having contractions 5 -10 min apart and I knew she was coming that day! I really didn't want her to be born on Christmas Day, and ...YAY she wasn't! I was so worried I wouldn't have the strength to go through labor again unmedicated, but because of my amazing husband and the help of my wonderful sister Kari, I was able to do it again! It was harder than I remember though! Of coarse she had to poop tons while she was in me and swallow it, so she did have to be whisked away when she was born to clean out her lungs. But other than that, she was born with no cord around her neck, no knot in her cord, no cysts, lumps, or anything! She is healthy! And even better, she has normal sized fingers and toes which is a good sign that she won't have Marfans like Matt and Jay. We feel so blessed that she is healthy! She is such a doll! Here are a few pics I was able to take during her photoshoot. I didn't really shoot much because quite frankly, I'm tired. So I had my sweet sister Kari (www.karihenneferphotography.blogspot.com) and frind photographer Lisa (www.sugarbeanphotography.blogspot.com) take her photos. There are a lot more pics posted from Lisa on my facebook page that I tagged myself in at this link. There are also a lot more on Lisa's blog. Thanks for all the support, prayers and love!

Wow! I'm Ashamed!
August 16th was the last time I posted? Oh I am so sorry! I have been absolutely swamped with this my business! I can't believe I am due in 6 days!!! So, I wanted to share a few things that we have been up to the last 4 (so sorry!) months!
My Business
I now have a licensed, insured, registered LLC business! It has been so fun learning how to do this and it has been going to well. I have my new site done and I can sit back for a while and relax while I learn how to be a mom again!
Deja Bell Nuttall
We FINALLY decided on a name for our little girl! I know the sweetest girl named Deja and I have always loved her name! I never thought I would name my daughter Deja, but it always came up whenever Matt and I were talking! Her middle name has a lot of significance. We wanted to use a grandma's name, but all of them didn't fit. So one night, I named the initials of all 4 of Deja's great grandmas: Betty, Elithe, Louise, Lavone. Matt says to me, honey that spells Bell! Deja Bell :) We can't wait to meet her! She is due on Christmas Day and I hope she comes the 22nd!!! Pray for us! I'm planning on having her naturally again and need lots of prayers to give me strength! Here are a few maternity pics at 36 weeks that Kari took along with a good friend.

Our home
We are still in our home! We are almost done with our modification (hopefully next month) and our payments have been cut in half!! We really feel blessed! After we modify, we will have the whole spec home disaster behind us and we will be free!!!!! We just can't wait!
Matt
We are so grateful that we were prompted to apply for a job at Xactware! It has been so stable and we feel so blessed when there are so many others who don't have a job. Matt has just finished his second semester back at UVU after a 5 year break and only has a year and a half left before he graduates with his bachelors in Technology management. I'm so proud of him!
Jay
Oh Jay. That crazy kid! His surgery went well, but he did have his drains in for 6 weeks! It was TERRIBLE! He looks so good now and I need to get a good picture of his crazy scar. They really did a great job! He will have plastic surgery in a few months to smooth it out, but it will be an outpatient procedure!! This kid is so crazy! He is growing like a weed and sometimes isn't the most coordinated. Here is a picture of his latest scar right in between the eyes! Lovely, I know! He was surfing on his little car and fell and hit the drawer handle on the entertainment center. Yup, back to the hospital and more stitches! He is seriously one tough kid!!! Here is a lovely picture along with more of my cute little boy! His life is sure going to change when Deja gets here!!!!
We looked away for 2 seconds and found Jay in here. His face is classic! He better not do this when she is in there!

Sorry it took me so long to post! I will post some of our sweet little girl soon! We can't wait to meet her! HOPEFULLY we will have her and be home from the hospital before Chrismas!

We are HOME!
Wow. This was quite the experience! The surgery took 5 hours and he did so well, he didn't even need to go to the ICU afterwards (which was the plan.) He didn't loose much blood and he really did great. But when I went into the recovery room, he was already awake and was so cranky! This didn't change till the next day :(. That first day was really hard. He was in a lot of pain and was pulling on all the cords and wires attached to him. He didn't want to be anywhere but in our arms, so I sat in the recliner for 2 1/2 days holding him. It was nice to snuggle though because he hasn't done that in a long time :) We got him off the morphine the second day, and as soon as we did, our little boy started to come back. We were able to go home after we got his pain under control. I was so worried that it would be so hard at home and that I would be sitting with him all day! The second we got home, he just changed!! He was running around, playing with toys and I had to calm him down so he wouldn't hurt himself! He does have 2 large drains in him with 2 really big pouches. We have strapped these to his back to keep them out of the way and so far, they haven't bothered him too much. They are just so big and bulky!
We get the drains removed on Friday if he isn't draining anymore. The incision is huge, but it doesn't seem to bother him yet. I can't believe what they were able to do! They took away a lot of extra skin and it is all flat! I can't wait to see what it looks like in a few weeks!

Pre-Surgery - This pic is so funny! I just said, "Jay" and this is the face I got.

To make things even better, the surgery was delayed an hour and a half and we had a boy who was fasting and a mom who was queezy from all the smells and stress. Dad did so good to entertain this boy for a long time!
We had to say, "Jay, where's your boobie?" one more time. We can't say that anymore!
Mom and Jay pre-surgery. A Happy boy that has no idea what is going to happen :(
Mom and Jay Post-surgery. It was so sad. Look at all the wires attached to him. This doesn't show the 2 huge drains coming out of him under the blanket too. There were 7 cords coming from him at 1 time :(
After he got off the Morphine, he was so much happier! This is the famous face when we ask him where his teeth are. You have to click on this pic to see his funny face!
This is a terrible picture. The nurse took it not me!!! I will post a better picture when we get a chance to take his bandages off soon.
GOING HOME!!!
I took this today, 4 days after surgery at grandpa's house. This is seriously my new favorite picture of him!!! He is doing so well now!!!!!

I'm so Sorry!
We didn't disappear I promise, we just are so busy. I have to much to post, but I can't right now. If anyone still reads our blog (I don't blame you if you don't!), here is what is happening tomorrow. Sweet little Jay is having his surgery to remove his cyst tomorrow. I thought I was going to be just fine about it, but this last week, I have been a mess. The surgery will be 6 hours long, and the scary part is trying to not touch the nerve and artery in his armpit. He will have a 6" scar from the middle of his arm all the way down his side. I just have no idea how his recovery will be. I really am scared. We took a few pictures tonight to remember the famous "BOOBIE." When we ask Jay, "where's your boobie?" he grabs it and it is so funny. Not after tomorrow!

I have 6 weddings booked this summer, and tons of sweet little babies, bellies and families. We are so blessed! At the moment we might be able to keep our house! Matt starts school today too after a 4 1/2 year break! More on all this fun stuff soon!

DO YOU WANT TO COME?
Ok guys, we are not joking!
Every year we go on vacation to some crazy place because we are so lucky to have a time share. We get hooked up with such nice hotels, and then we use skymiles to get us there. We are all about cheap vacations! Last year we stayed at the most AMAZING hotel in Acapulco, and my sister was able to come with us.

Last year we stayed at the most AMAZING hotel in Acapulco, and my sister was able to come with us.Basically, we get 2 bedrooms guaranteed, and we need someone to share it with! So much has happened!!!
Wow, I'll try to keep this short, but so much has happened! Are you ready?
#1 We sold our Spec house!! Too bad it was for $150,000 less than what we owed. Short sales are scary, and we will see how bad it will be next year when we are taxed. The dumb IRS can say that since we didn't pay $150,000 that it was profit and charge is 30% taxes on that. So, we will see!
#2 Our own home is under contract for a short sale (not even as bad as the other one) and we might have it sold within a month and a half. The bank we used for our short sale on the investment home basically took control of our house because we did a short sale, so it is basically not even ours. "Why keep feeding a dead horse?" said our lovely accountant. That is why we are moving. Pray it goes through!!
#3 After some crazy revelation and a lot of prayers, we have decided to not get our own place, but to move into Matt's mom's home and help her get through these tough financial times. WE are excited about this because she is an angel!
#4 Jay is walking! I need to post a video soon because it is so cute to see him wobble with his arms straight up in the air! He finally started to say "mom" too. It melts my heart every time!
#5 I upgraded everything about my business! New name, website, logo, software...the works. If you have links on your blog, thanks so much, but there is a new address if you wouldn't mind changing it. I am getting a lot of work and weddings! I just love taking pictures!

#6 We are more happy than we have ever been going through these crazy times. We plan on being completely out of debt by next year, and starting over. We have grown so close through all of this and have realized, this is a short chapter in our lives and we need to learn and grow and progress. We are one little happy family!
#7 Seven new things is a lot to happen to one family in a few months. I don't want to try to think of anything else, so I am done here! Thanks for all your prayers! We see the end of the tunnel!
