In April....

I went on a field trip with my sweet boy to see Harold and the Purple Crayon.

K and I had lunch with our other favorite Katherine.

We celebrated these sweet twinsies birthday!

We celebrated our sweet neighbors' birthdays at Camp Hi-Ho!

We enjoyed the first popsicles of the season.

Hayden showed us that he could still do his telephone trick. 

Kathryn showed off her reading skills by reading all most the entire Go, Dog, Go book all by herself!!

We cheered on Amber in the school performance of The Lion King.

Hayden did some spring fishing.

K and I took advantage of our afternoons together. 

We went to the school art show to purchase our little artists' masterpieces. 

Kathryn spent some time sorting Hayden's cars. 

And Hayden, our little monkey, watch some TV. 

Early Birthday Celebrating

Kathryn was excited to finally have a chance to celebrate her birthday at school.  She's our only summer birthday and she finally realized she was missing out.  Thankfully, her sweet teachers let her celebrate early.  She chose donut holes, strawberries, and lemonade!

Baseball Season Begins

April brought the beginning of a new baseball season for Hayden.  He was excited to play at ELS this year on the Cardinals team!

I have to say, he looks pretty handsome in that uniform too!

Spring Break--French Lick Resort

Our last stop on Spring Break was the French Lick Resort with Mimi & Papaw.  It was the perfect little get-away and we all had a great time.

Our first stop was the Big Splash Adventure indoor waterpark.  It was a little too crowded for my liking but the kids still had a great time.

We then went to West Baden for lunch in the atrium.

The kids even braved the cold temps and went out to the hot tub for a few minutes!

Spring Break--Main Event

While the weather wasn't great for our Spring Break at home, we found some fun indoor places to go too.  The biggest hit was our first visit to Main Event.  The kids bowled, played laser tag, attempted the ropes course, and played tons of video games with their friends. Needless to say, they had a blast!

The little girls bowled first while the big kids played laser tag.

My kids attempted to do the ropes course but chickened out when they got up there. Jackson did a great job though!

This simulator ride was the favorite by far.  Since the little girls were too little to do laser tag or the ropes, they gave us some unlimited arcade passes.  It was a great deal and kept them entertained for a long time!

The hurricane simulator was another hit. 

The big kids bowled last and were losing steam by the end but they had a great time!
