A bit about the Crumps . . . .
Mike and I have been together for 14 years, 4 months and 1 week! While we definitely had our share of ups and downs, we've loved each other through it all and continue to look forward to what the future will bring our way.
Mike has worked for a small telecommunication wiring company for the past 6 years as the Warehouse Manager. Within that time he has also taken on the the roles of Fleet Management, Facilities Management and become the office's sole Purchaser. He pretty much is the "jack of all trades" around there and willingly takes on whatever is asked of him. He was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Oct 2011 and we were sealed in the Temple for time and all eternity on Dec 29 2012! I love this man more and more each day! He is such a great example of a man, father and husband!
While I have worked most of my adult life, typically enjoyed my places of employment and the friends made there, Mike and I agreed I should come home to be with the children after Mia was born. It's been 2 1/2 years now and I am so very happy with our decision. Especially now that we're expecting again this November. Can you imagine having 3 in full-time daycare?!! Oy! The costs would be insane!
Eli is 8 now and was baptized on his birthday last November. It was a special event, filled with the love and support of many friends and family members. He's been homeschooling for a year and half now. Which brings lots of challenges to both of us, but also time spent together we wouldn't get to have otherwise. He enjoys math, science, and is learning to like writing. With him turning eight, he now attends Cub Scouts in the Wolf Den. It's a great program with a good group of boys and amazing leaders. I think his favorite activity so far has been the Pinewood Derby where he got to build a car with Mike and race against the other boys. He's attending Cub Scout Twilight Camp this week, which will probably be his new favorite activity :) He also enjoys building space ships with legos, playing with his many Transformers and collecting rocks.

Ms. Mia fast approaching life at 2 1/2. She has been and continues to be a wonderful gift of joy and love to our family. She definitely knows how to make her likes and dislikes known. And has no trouble keeping up with her older brother. She started potty training about 3 weeks ago and got the pee-pee part down pretty quickly. Well you would also if a piece of chocolate was involved every time ;) Now we're working on going #2 in the potty and wearing underpants at nap time. Nap time . . . no worries! #2 . . . lots of worries :( Ug!

Our adventures continue and we're all excited for the new little one to arrive. I'm 5 1/2 months along with the due date Nov 1st. Eli of course wants a brother and Mia wants a sister. We haven't found out so we'll all be surprised when he/she (or as my sister says "shim") finally gets here. I pray he/she is healthy and happy. I know he/she is already loved and that his/her siblings will adore him/her just like they already do each other.
More to come later peeps! Thanks for visiting and I hope you'll read along as we chronicle what's coming up next for the Crumps!!
