      Questions by Miss Relentless

1.
Name one little thing/activity that is guaranteed to make you happy

Wow...lol..this is hard answering right here.k... lets see...if God can clarify that i will make heaven, that happiness sure die!!!!!and STAMPED GUARANTEED!

But in terms of physical stuff, If more women/ladies can realize their worth, stand up for their rights and let men know they're worth more than video vixens, cheap sex slots which can be bought for 9k and so on and please God by honoring him with their bodies, then that would make me happy and stop those silly boys and men from running their mouths like TAP!! and respect women so much more.
I value integrity in women. A lot!!
k, i said it...i just had to

2.
If you could go back in time, what would you change about your life

Well, I wish i could have done so much more, would have played so much more and loved so much more..., not take myself too serious and take life easy. and i wish had pictures of every moment captured about my life. i'd love to have memories of who i was and compare with who i am now.

3.
 Facebook or Twitter and why?

Wo! my dear, any of the above ojere. i'm not that crazy about reigning social apps like that. it comes i use, it goes, it has gone niyen. i've been on twitter since which year and i just drop by sometimes.

4.
What is a deal breaker for you in a relationship with your significant other?
hahaha....#grinning with a blush# i go with relentless on this.

5.
What is the relationship with your siblings like if you have siblings?

Older siblings which are guys or men rather..., I play with them and yab them a lot and they can like to ask me 'if i'm drunk.'hehehehe
We go as far as wrestling too...hehehe..not anymore though..and please dont look at me like that. a girl needs to show how strong she is sometimes..#sticks tongue out#

Dami's questions
1.
Describe yourself using your physical features only.

wow! Dami why naw..ok..i've heard several times i look so gentle/quiet on the outside. my facial expression is the type that makes you doubt that i would talk or say anything.
i have small eyes and my smile comes easy. i don't know my present height but i know i can be classified as an average height.

2.

In one word, just one word - describe where you are now and where you wish you could be.
Lagos
Somewhere only me and God knows..#whistling music#

3.

Which do you prefer: Harmattan or hot sun?
harmattan oo..cos i can still wear so many clothes and get warm. but as for hot sun.., if i decide to wear pant and bra outside, se they wont think something has happened? maybe not sha in this century..lool

4. Whom do you wish to meet out of your favorite celebrities?

haar, not a fair question oo cos they're so many.
let me start by mentioning Leona Lewis. gosh! that girl is one of the black women that i respect in the secular world. she's deep and she can sing. Her voice is so strong and her lyrics are so constructive they make you wanna cry. the first time i read the lyrics of bleeding love, i was in awe..lol, then came better in time, Happy and My Hands.
she's beautiful and has beautiful eyes and a well defined face. i can recognize her voice anyway and she has me hooked on her latest "LOVEBIRD song' already
thirdly, ut of all her music videos, she's one of the women i know who doesn't dance provocatively and is at least decent to an extent.
others include: Jennifer Lawrence(won best actress at the oscars and her fall was so graceful..loool. the girl is just too blunt but i like her all the same) , Jordin Sparks, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Cece, Don Moen, Anthem lights, Casting Crowns, Denzel and so much more.., but that will be all for now

5.

If you had to go back to school, which would you choose? Nursery, primary, Secondary, or Tertiary?
ummm.., i think it would be Tertiary. still pondering

So, i would just ask the same questions as Dami asked me cos i like her questions i guess
here are my nominees....

Simply mee
blogoratti, please come and answer your questions jare!!ahn ahn!
inyamu
Tamie
jhazymn
unveiling gold
northern girl
Toin, i just feel like giving you again abeg.loool.probably cos i just enjoy you answering questions

I had to make it eleven since i had two awards...hope that makes sense sha..

Prince of Egypt OST

This cartoon had so many errrrrrrrrorrs...coughs*** it doesn't correlate with the Moses story me i know from my bible o, thanks to Dreamworks and hollywood who like adding jara to bible stories but the song is wonderful
thought I'd share it with you guys.
Me and soundtracks ehn....I hope this my obsession over movie and cartoon soundtracks wane with time ooo...lool

The part where the red sea parts is just the most awesome scene ever
I wonder what I would have done if it happened right in front of me
maybe i would have passed out and they would just carry me across.
I remember the cartoon was the most expensive cartoon in its time. the effects and the voice overs i guess
but no effect could surpass that awesome event that happened in reality many years ago.
the Israelites had been trapped between the red sea and their enemies.
now thats what you call a DILEMMA.. 'trapped between the devil and the blue sea.''
and that was the MOMENT GOD chose to work His wonders. Just at the last minute.

Are you in that area of your life where it seems.. ''oh well, i might as well carry on or give in. God isn't doing anything..Just wait on the Lord, and be of good courage and He will strengthen thy heart.
He is indeed a God of "suddenly.'' and "surprises.''
If you read your bible pretty well, you'll see most times when God is said to arise Suddenly or rather surprise you when you least expect it.
Your own is to believe,
just like Mariah and Whitney sang.."there can be miracles when you believe, though hope is frail, its hard to kill.''
I just love when songs have orchestral performance. its always so amazing to behold. makes me wonder sometimes what heaven will be like

p.s: this is just one of the soundtracks. there were some other ones that i liked too but would save my OST list for another day.

thanks and xoxo

Courageous

 Poster art for "Courageous."

Pardon me if you see my thoughts flying everywhere when I do reviews. I get excited after watching a good movie.
From the same director/producer of Facing the Giants and fireproof comes Courageous. It took me this long to watch it though (its obvious its since 2011) and it had been in my lappy for a while.
I have one word for you.

IT’S A MUST SEE, GO WATCH IT!!

Okay…, two words, sorry. But if you’ve watched ‘Fireproof’ and ‘Facing the Giants’, then I don’t need to talk much because it speaks for itself.
It taught me some lessons in life though (love movies that I can learn from at least, even after all the action. Good should be able to triumph over Evil at the end)
-stand tall for what you believe IN. Go the extra mile for that God you believe in and let people know your stand…, even if it costs you something valuable as a job.
In the movie, it cost this guy a job He’d been eager to get in order to provide for his family but Yet….
I don’t wanna spoil the movie for you. Lots happened y’know. The good, the bad, the ugly, but there was something else I noticed..
BEAUTIFUL CINEMATOGRAPHY…as in, gosh, it deserves a best picture. You get to see this at the end of the movie though.

You want a movie that will make you laugh, cry and smile apart from 3 idiots, inspire you and won’t leave you confused on the first watch e.g Inception . Not saying it’s a bad movie o, lol, but I went to the cinemas to see the movie and I was left with a question mark. Maybe it was my mood or something but after a few explanations from my brother, I started fixing the puzzles.
How come guys understand Sci-Fi’s and movies like this better than girls? Don’t even start with the Videogames. At least I’m trying. #wink#

So well, Courageous is a must see, uplifting, inspiring and most important of all, leaves a mark/trail of God behind to follow.

Best Part of the movie;
We are inviting any man whose heart is willing and courageous to join us in this resolution. In my home, the decision has already been made. You don’t have to ask who will guide my family b’cos by God’s grace I will…..
So where are you men of Courage?, where are You fathers who fear the Lord, its time to rise up answer the call God has given to you and to say
I will, I will, I will
And the soundtrack just tops it all. Gave me so much goose pimples..
Hope this post was short enough..LOOL…before drama queen and ay yab me again..

Just Saying

"Even A fool is considered wise when he holds his peace.when he shuts his lips, he is considered perceptive" Proverbs 17v28

I never really understood this part of the bible till I heard someone say something on TV when asked a question and then I shook my head and I'm like..."really?...'' do people actually think like this?!!!
Yes, I know everyone is entitled to his/her opinion when asked a question but haba naww...not on TV should you display foolishness

okay, the question was.."is sagging good or bad?''  (i think it was one of those red carpet or entertainment shows kinda thing) and then one lady says.."well, if your butt is goodlooking"
Another said.."well, it's the IN-thing, you know..fashion trend and so just follow it" or something like that sha...cos it was so annoying especially when its a popular artiste that said it. Even when I mentioned it to someone while we were gisting, all he could infer was.."were you expecting a better answer from the artiste?''

Well, there was another one talking about "ugly temptation"...probably the name of his album and his song inclusive and so when he was asked what his phrase meant, the guy was like..."ehhnn, when a girl is not fine or rather, not pretty, and she begins to whine her waist so that he's tempted to touch her body, that's what he calls ugly Temptation!!

And guys!!.. I'm like..."eyebrows raised!!!!...seriously?....Someone is that shallow to say that?''
I think it's my fault that I expected more from the singer cos his video was just meaningless...

Wondering how I even watched the video in the first place huh?..lool..well, you know all those places where you have to wait for someone and then the TV is playing right in front of you?...well, that was my situation oo....lol..and I got to see the pathetic video with meaningless lyrics..
although the artiste claimed to have put in a lot of hard work into it and I'm like..."sure coach, try telling that to people who make lyrical songs...duhhh''
As usual, all I could see them advertising was sex anyway, so I wonder why i believed he could say something NOT shallow/superficial

I don't know if I sound harsh oo, but I'm very passionate about music and I feel it shouldn't just be done anyhow..it's a powerful tool, and can reach the soul and heal...
Lucifer himself knew what he had...or rather What God gave him before He was cast down and so he knows the right strings to push etc..

we were watching Project fame the other day(pls dont say its joblessness o..lol) and then there was this guy that pulled the crowd with his dance steps etc and even one of the judges had to stand and hail him about a "future concert" that we're not even sure about..#side eye#...am not dissing the contestant oo, but i guess i was almost carried away myself till Didi or Bibi..pls chip in correction if you will (one of the judges) shunned the whole stuff and said the truth about the performance which i myself realized too.

All my momma could do was squint her eyes and.."ummmmmm...."
well, me?...i was like.."ouch...that hurt but i guess it's true"
And she explained that music was all about Lyrics and not just about performance. Music is so much more than performance and dancing etc..(Read your bible well enough and you'll see how much music was appreciated.)

It's good to feel the music but don't get carried away and this thing ministered to me in a way.

Just because someone is performing signs and wonders or doing lots of stuff that looks anointed doesnt mean He "is" or is IN God's will for his life, so like Simply mee will quote from the bible.."face your salvation with fear and trembling" cos your salvation doesn't depend on anybody but God. The man is a man of God, yes...respect him, but Jesus is the only one you should BE looking unto..the author and finisher of our faith..

Another thing is Stand for what you believe in, cos with some stuff i've observed these days, people will even quote bible to get what they want.
someone was saying something from the bible to me one time like that which was contrary to what i believed in and I had to tell him straight that.."see, even the devil used bible verse to tempt Jesus so..."
anything that is falsely based on the bible and NOT illuminated by the Spirit should be checked and ask God to guide you. Even the bible says "the devil comes like an angel of light..so don't expect one big looking monster or the Nigerian "Harry potters"...before you'll be watchful and Prayerful,

oh, and by the way, I got my old memory card and I found lots of songs in it including this Nigerian one that is becoming a favorite naija song of mine since i didn't really have one anyways...gosh, you guys should listen to it..it has strings..eg violin(i love songs which feature the instrument Violin and guitar or piano but can't play#sad face)
and when i listen to this song, i'm like "why can't Nigeria produce more songs like this and get rid of those noisy ones that can make somebody have headache....mschewww
need I mention names?...nahhh..i guess we know them all..
whisphers***...."they are all around us.''
and so i leave you with Adol-Orin

a cold and broken halleluyah

The first time I heard this song was in the animated comedy SHREK...and please......if you havent seen this animation...or point blank cartoon and you need a good laugh...most especially when you're feeling somehow, gosh!!...this will give you a good laugh(the talking donkey voiced by Eddie Murphy)

k, before I get carried away again, the part I realized I loved most about this song was the Title above which said, "its a cold and broken halleluyah" and Alexandra Burke did justice to that song (i don't know if that thing happens to you that there's one verse or line in a song that seems to make something tick in you)...I'd stopped listening to it in while due to a line that contradicted my faith but I heard the choir singing it in church and how that line was altered and I knew i could sing it again...
I knew I had missed singing the song, most especially with all the 'jara' the babes added..
I thought i was the only one who understood those "jara" stunts people add to music(that part where the artiste raises her voice in some sort of fantastic way that makes you smile that yes!!!...this babe knows how to tackle a good song) till I heard one of my friends singing It the way Alexandra did and I was like..."sigh!!....i'm so NOT the only one who pulls stunts like this when i do sing alongs.''
but something else got to me when i listened to this song.., this "cold and broken halleluyah part made me realize that God wants us to come to him as broken vessels...with our imperfections so that He can make all things new and we shouldn't feel till we have done this or done that..
He wants you just the way you are

I mean seriously guys...whats the use of a vessel thats filled?..he wants to empty you of yourself so that you can be what He intends for you and not some false perfection.

"a broken and contrite spirit thou shall not despise" psalm51v17

Talk to him about your imperfections and how you want him to change you.. Talk to him like your lover..what am i saying...He is your lover. Who else could do what He did for you anyway? Who else looks at you like you're the most important thing in the world.....even more than his angels
A PEARL...thats what you are to Him, thats what He sees by the time he's through with you
I think when you listen to the song or rather know the song already, You might Get to appreciate or understand my gist
and so, I'm leaving you with the video song..or just song rather...

p.s...this is the only Alexandra Burke song I gbaduned..or is worth listening to either ways
pls...the vid is like 5 minutes but 1 min of this their intro talk so pls be patient wit me small...
ese gan..eku ife...meaning...thanks so much...for the Love..it is returned.
xoxo

Halleluyah by Alexandra burke...enjoy

Random...Exclusive

I look at some pictures or passerby and wonder why some people on Sunglasses look like blind folks rather than sexy peeps
Is it just my mind or am i .... ?
and then its worse when you wear it at night...please don't ever do that again..and not even in your car!!!...jeez. do you want to run into people??!!

Well, I think one gets to observe more when walking on foot. this has happened, not once, not twice but i just had to write it here
chai...Yoruba films sha...I'm a Yoruba girl, so don't worry, its allowed...#biggrrin#....is it even only Yoruba films sef...or some of these films they produce these days
I was going oo...when I saw this big movie Poster advertising a Yoruba film.."ERU AYA"(for the non-yorubas...this means the load on a woman's chest!!...imagine that!!..smh!! how can that be the name of  a movie..
eru aya ko, eru okunrin ni...mscheww...i wont be surprised if they also turn the latter into a Yoruba movie too...

Another one I saw was "Gucci Girls"...the next thing we know, its Louis Vuitton Men we'll be hearing about SMH!! silly people..we can even go on and on.., "Facebook love" is another movie, before we know it now, they will do "Twitter Love"
oh...here's another one that made me laugh...,Jonathan part 1 and part 2 and there was a man who actually posed on the poster as Jonathan...with that his garment or whatever it is he wears almost every day...This movie actually came out during that time of the subsidy issue ooo...

With all of the above, I knew creativity most definitely jumped out of the window and left them blank

Please...ahn ahn...even Ralia the sugar girl and Queen Premiere that I read in nursery/primary school sounds better than all this stupid movie names...Enid Blyton was a delight even with Sir peeps-a lot and all of those her funny British names
I think i can stand watching Bollywood than all this films...this reminds me of the joke basket mouth was cracking one time about Naija movies, Indian movies and chinese movies...gosh..twas so funny..i dont wanna start recapping all that stuff now but there was one chinese film i saw that naija people refurbished and i heard that was where one slang like that came to be...it sounded something like...
Jooor oo.., mo le fi boko haram se tenant o(meaning,...pls oo, I cannot take boko haram as a tenant o)
as in, people were pulling so many stunts with this Joor oo slang that after a while, that one dried out.
naija ppl are creative if they use their talents but i guess some people don't even want to stress themselves

Do they think good movies take one week to make, or rather good creative stories...?

ohhh...talking about movies...see me o...i don't know who sent me message o.. i was browsing when i remembered one nice Indian film i watched sometime ago and  i went searching...you know most of those their names are long one kind and so i found the whole movie and downloaded it
i dont think i wanna do this again...
what could be worse?...no subtitle..and I was like..what!!...who watches an Indian movie without subtitle...and so another journey began and I had to start looking for good sites where to download the subtitle for that particular movie bearing in mind that time was going and I had this IPRAY 4 U challenge prescribed by aloted...and so, I knew I had to do fast
but I finally found it sha..God will deliver me from this liking of film too much ahn ahn..but there are certain ones i can watch sha

If atilola can be telling me nawa oo..lool...then I need to mellow

but the movie was cool, those days, when we were young, Indian films don't do kiss kiss and so as kids, we could leave our eyes open then but now..even as an adult,.me I don't know whats going on ooo.
And again, the boy was willing to die for the girl(Indian romeo and Juliet)...loool..their love sef, dey gan ooo..ahn ahn...you will think the girl was going to have asthma attack...
and then i wondered...naija love is not like this oo...boy die for girl ke, most especially when her father is a mobster.(don't know how many of you watched the godfather).iro!!.."pls let me find my way, if it's meant to be, then it will happen"..LOL
The guy and the girl were good looking..that hair and that face..ahn ahn..God is awesome ooo...

This Indian people take style fine too oo..and you need to see the changes that have undergone their dress code and everything but i guess the dramatic aspect and culture is still so ever present...and they have loads of humor too...with that their constant shaking of head they have too many gods...

let me ask a question though...is it every Indian that knows how to dance(both men and women?
They too like ceremony sef...one and a half hour to sing and then the movie continues..

even at the end of SLumdog millionaire, they sang and they danced
3 idiots too wasn't an exception..

Why do people still think this guys are still alive?...#shakes head#people and their obsessions sha

My brother thinks there's more to it than meets the eye..

I went over to my former school a day back to sort out stuff and on entering the library, I saw a girl with earplugs and i wondered to myself..
Why come over to the library since you want to put on your earplugs?...are you not trying to get away from the noise
Well, I think i was guilty of that kind of stunt one time like that and soo...who am i to think like that
anyways...someone gave me a reasonable answer to that and i realized some kinds of music facilitate absorption
or rather...we just wanna shut out the whole world
For now, i guess thats It sweet folks...
essh...should I be using the "folks" word? the folks word reminds me of Kids say the dandiest things
why don't they do that show anymore?
k...i really have to stop here. this is just a brief peek into my mind
it really IS random!
Have a lovely weekend darlings
xoxo

IDentity issues

                                                              source

Please show me your ID please?
This is in my head as I write this...
I was in the bus one day when I spotted a cool looking guy who donned a nice outfit. only that His outfit was a cliche and it made me flash back to one of D'banj's videos..
N.B...I'm not a fan and on a normal day, i wouldn't go looking for this man who loves to imitate Fela but as i would have it, His video located me. kudos to my cousin who has most of these songs that people listen to these days because count me out, I appreciate music when I hear your lyrics..., and mind you, the lyrics must be deep and not just some words like...lets go to the dance floor and shake our booty
We need more than shaking our booty in Nigeria.., even on planet earth
and we need good and sensible music that will make us reflect and not make people to keep drinking, raping people and breaking bottles

Was there any wonder I was formerly addicted to rock? Lyrics...lyrics...the artiste had his soul in the song...don't know which other way to explain this though
okay.., before i drift away from the main topic, i saw this guy's outfit or should i call it costume and then my mind flashes back to D'banj's dressing in His Oliver twist video
identity lost, all i can see when i look at this guy is D'banj!, D'banj!....D'banj!...oliver twist...sheeesh!!

where's the guy's own identity?

He's just a copycat, because He'll never be D'banj, (although I'm wondering what the guy sings anyway) not in this life or in the life to come.
And then I realized while i was discussing with someone that we love to look like someone and yet claim to be unique in our own way. Our sense of fashion, our sense of thinking and our mode of dressing have now been fashioned accordingly to what the world says and I'm like Hellooooo....have we been put in a zombie stage where we grope in the dark while some group of people dictates what we do, and what we wear and how we think and live
the individual i discussed with put it point blank that we have No form of identification anymore. when it comes to the Hair aspect(no offense and please don't aim the sniper at me oo abeg..LOL)..We rush for things that are not even ours in the first place. talk about Brazilian hair or Mexican hair or Human hair.
I hear Human hair and i'm like Whoa...lool...whose hair is that..right on my head..and I'm gonna sleep on my head carrying some form of hair on my head....#shudders#

This multicolored clothes people wear these days with the slippers..(i don't like things that are common. to me they already have a price tag..A general price tag when someone looks at you)

I hate looking like a price tag

I look at some guys with this carrot jeans and tight T-shirt with your boxers showing while your jeans is lowered and i'm like "whoa!!...hold it right there cowboy..LOOl...no one wants to see your underwear...seriously!!!...' but it's the new fad in town. i see some guys dressed like this and my mind flashes to wizkid....
Identity lost...
I don't see you anymore, I see a child who got famous and who's rants about dancing whereas when people have not eaten, how will they party...or Someone singing about "his father being rich and you dare not stop Him"...and I'm like.."hello!!..whack!!...go get your own money dude!...your father's money cannot continue being your money silly!!''
Another thing that amazes me most is where do they get all these girls that dance in the Videos
one of my friends stated one time that she dared not pull that kind of stunt. her mother would kill her or was "disown" the word she used
Can't remember and I'm not even interested in that. all I'm interested in is that You get a life and keep your integrity, and stop copying people and be an original
So many copycats, so many people wanna belong and so many fit in yet just a few have their real Identity when I see them
When I look at you, I wanna see You for You, and not you looking like Beyonce or Rihanna or one of those celebrities who really need God in their life. Why can't the world choose to imitate you instead? And i hate when guys try comparing a girl to Beyonce..e.g A shape or body like Beyonce like she's some form of goddess or role model. that girl will never be like Beyonce and so Just Shut UP already!!..if you don't like her for who she is, then..., Adios amigos!!!..She's just being herself and stop pushing her to compromise
If you like, travel and go and marry Beyonce or whoever celebrity you wanna marry, but stop imposing your lust on women who have refused to follow a certain pattern of Hollywood's lies and respect them

And Ladies, please raise your tag and let them see your name and origin boldly written on it.
If you want a gladiator uniform, you already have it. in case you don't know or rather forgotten, you were enlisted as a soldier of Christ when you surrendered your life to Him
As for me, my Tag reads.."A Chosen generation, a Royal priesthood, A Holy nation.''
Do a double check and you'll see.."I am God's own"
what does yours read?

I'm not beefing ooo, but this had been on my mind for a while and i just thought I should share

N.B: for those that followed Lori's journal or rather got my gist in my Journal episode, check out the Lessons learned from Lori's journal(the last episode) that was where i gave my vote of thanks to every one because i noticed most of you didn't see it.
God bless you all darlings
