So far so good..

Tomorrow ends our first month of daily football practice! Next week we go down to 3 practices, and then after that just 2 a week for the rest of the season. This has taken a lot of time and energy, and I am just excited that we have gotten through the worst part. Life goes fast as soon as the boys get home from school, they do their homework, eat dinner, and then stuff themselves into their pads, get their water, and out the door they go to practice until 8:30 every night. It is exausting! No real injuries yet..Jakob sprained his wrist, but that wasn't too bad. I was praying that it wasn't going to be broke, because it was sure bruised, and there was a huge lump. But we got lucky. No fainting here! Here are some pictures of Isaak at practice. This year he is playing center, and also a defensive lineman. So he plays non-stop. He likes it though. (He is number 60)

Oh, and Isaak has to sell Gold Canyon Candles for their team fundraiser..if anybody is interested in buying some from him, just email me, and I will send you all the info. minder63@yahoo.com

California with the Pittams

My dad took us kids to San Diego this weekend for a little get away. We had so much fun. Although we had to leave early, the others are still there until Wednesday! WE stayed at the Omni Hotel. The first day we got there we went out to lunch at a Mexican food place that was really good. After that we got ready to go to the beach at Coronado Island. After that, we all went out to dinner to Fuddruckers. It was just so much fun being around my family and learning more about them. The next day we went to La Jolla beach and saw the seals, and went under ground into a cave by the ocean. After that we went to Mission Beach and hung out there, and did some shopping. Then we came back and got cleaned up to go out to dinner at the Fish Market. The next morning (Monday) we had to get going, so we ate breakfast at the Hash House, and then headed home. We had a great time and are so thankful we got to go along. Here come the pictures of course!

Lil Fish

Dave took some really cute pictures of the little kids swimming at their Uncle Kenny's pool. Natalie and Colin have become quite the little swimmers this summer. Natalie was so brave she wanted to go down the slide without any help being caught at the bottom. She had her floaties on, so she'd pop right back up at the end. She loved it. She also taught herself how to float around on her back. Colin started to put his face in the water and blow bubbles. This is huge for a kid who would touch the water earlier this summer. Cute pictures ahead!

This is my nephew Brandon.
