Jarod's Modeling Debut

Jarod had the opportunity to do a photo shoot for a local clothing company. Isn't he the most handsome little boy you have ever seen??!

Sisters Weekend

Jarod and I flew to North Carolina for a little Sisters Weekend and a baby shower for my niece Jessica. We had a blast eating tons of junk food, staying up until the wee hours of the morning, and just hanging out. I love my sisters-in-law!

For the small, intimate, family-only baby shower we had an amazing Thansgiving dinner (yes, in September.) We had turkey (breast), cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes, candied yams, homemade crescent rolls, cranberry sauce and of course, pumpkin pie. Yum!

This is the oldest grandchild (about to have the first great-grandchild) holding the youngest grandchild!

Ahhhhhh! Back in the arms of Grandma Jean!

Emily's first day of Preschool

Emily has been ready for this day for SO LONG! It has been tough on her to see her sisters go to school every single day and not be able to go to school too. Her day is finally here!

Kayla's 7th Birthday

Kayla turns "7"!

Kayla's birthday celebration started off on Sunday as we had a family birthday party with Grandma Sharon and Papa Gene. We ate chocolate chip pancakes, buttermilk pancakes, strawberries and whipped cream, maple syprup, strawberry syrup and lots of bacon! And, of course, birthday cake!

On Kayla's actual birthday we went to her restuarant of choice - Red Robin - for dinner. She was a little disappointed that THE Red Robin mascot was not there but we had a good time anyway. I was so sad they didn't sing Happy Birthday to her and bring her a little ice cream sundae (Kayla made sure they knew it was her birthday) so we stopped at Dairy Queen and got banana splits.

Kayla, you will always be our miracle child! We are so lucky to be your parents!!
We love you to the moon and back!
