Merry Christmas from the Johnsons!

Remember that all the songs are works in progress (for now).

Pioneer Endings Overture

I put together an Overture from the music for Endings.

Mom is going to write a Pioneer based musical and use this (and maybe other) music. So the flavor of my orchestrations are meant to reflect something that would be appropriate for a Pioneer (and Mormon Battalion) type of theme.

Check it out:

Toy Story 3 game

Does anyone in the family have a game system, and would you like a copy of Toy Story 3 when it comes out? If so, let me know either here or by e-mail which game system you have so I know which one to request.

Story Blog

I decided I'm going to write my next book episodically online. So, if you're interested, you can tune in daily to read more. Make it a family gathering...read the latest section to the kids...etc....

Anyhow, I figure it'll keep me writing. I have some good ideas for this story, and I think it'll turn out fun as it starts coming together.

Check it out, become a follower, make rude comments, whatever....

Hey, I started a blog, and Charles already linked it to my website, so it's all official. I even have one follower (thanks, Jane!) It's at christyhardman.blogspot.com.
I think. If not, go to christyhardman.com and follow the link Charles set up. Three cheers for Charles!

To Papa

Dear Hannah,

I regret to inform you that Evelyn has taken an extreme liking to your version of "I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas." She demands I play the song over and over again, and whenever I stop playing it, she wanders around the house singing: "Happy, Happy, Happy!" (Which is her way of saying "Hippopotamus.") One must question your reasons for making that particular recording so darn cute and fun.
Respectfully Yours,
Pamela Adams

We have a girl! Daisy Aurora Nielson: born 8-8-09, 5:07am, 6 lbs. 14 oz., 19.5 inches long. She looks grumpy in these pictures, but that's only because she hasn't eaten the whole world yet (as she is wont to do).
