I still don't know how I ever convinced Aaron to marry me. I got soooo lucky!

Saturday he took over with the kiddos so I could run to the bank, Target and the grocery store. While I was out I stopped to meet them to drop off a binky for Luke and they were at the duck pond (where I snapped these beauties).

Aaron=stud/best dad. I love him. (not just because he took them to the duck pond).

Although Aaron didn't bring the binky with him, he definitely didn't forget to bring bread for the ducks! Aubs was a little scared because they came so close... but she was entertained and loved every minute of her quality time spent with her daddy.

Magna-Doodling

To say that Aubrie LOVES her Magna-doodle would be an understatement.

It is quite cute actually that she just can't get enough of it that she has to sleep with it half of the time!

Here are some of her latest creations. She loves drawing people... with faces, hair, and ears.
The other day she told me she was going to draw the letter "H." I looked over a little bit later and she had drawn a perfect letter "H." This girl impresses me to no end!

Snow days

This month has been pretty sweet so far. Aaron has had his first ever "snow days' (I think 4 or maybe just 3 total) and has been able to be home with us when he would normally be gone at school. I guess Dallas just doesn't have the means to deal with freezing cold temperatures and snow in the roads. Aubrie/we all loved having her daddy home... and especially playing in the snow with him.

We were supposed to only get 2 inches. The weather had different ideas. We had ridiculous amounts of snow and didn't leave the house for days... except to play in the snow!

Valentine's Package

Aubrie waited so patiently to open this package.
We were waiting for Grammie to get home so we could iChat while she opened up her gifts...

When we couldn't get ahold of Grammie and it was getting dangerously close to nap time, I let Aubrie start slowly opening... she started by opening papers and stickers to make Valentines with... we played with those for a while.

Cute girl.

Then the mystery box...

...was filled with delicious sugar cookies w/ sprinkles that Grammie baked for us!

Thank goodness Grammie got on iChat so she could see Aubrie's expression when she opened her presents. I didn't capture her expression when she saw what the dress looked like, but it was priceless. She feels like a real princess when she wears it.

Of course we had to put it on her right away.

Then more stuff... like socks, a new pink shirt...

Of course Grammie didn't forget the Lukie boy. He got a really cute new shirt and a singing toy.

We had a dance party shortly after the opening was finished.
