Where Have I Been?

Golly, I am so sorry for the long absence.

So many things have happened; that and life.

This happened...

 Our daughter got married!!!  He is the best for her.  I could really go on and on!

 My son-in-love's mom is one of my closest friends.  I was his first Sunday School teacher.  God is SO good.  He answered so many of my prayers.

Adjusting to life without her in the house has been different, to say the least.

I cut my hair.

BEFORE...If only it stayed like this all day...everyday!

 I found somewhere that would take grey & low-lighted hair.

AFTER.

I went here with Hubby.

Camping.  Not something that I normally like.  I had fun and would do it again.

the story of a celery stalk

it all started with a blog post i read somewhere.
the blogger took a bunch (don't really know what it's called) of celery and got it to regrow.

so, i took out celery end, soaked it.
planted it in the pot in the front.
our dog, dolly was watching the whole time.
i walked inside the house.
looked outside the window and dolly had taken the celery for herself.
she had it eaten in no time.
didn't know celery with dirt tastes so good.

We got a job

we got a new dog yesterday.

his current name is job...like the bible name.

the previous owner of 6 months found him at a gas station unclaimed.

with her car door open she said to job "if you are going home with me you better get in this car."

he jumped right in.

she named him job since he lost everything.

while we like his story, we aren't too hip on the name.

so we are tossing around some names and need your help.

more for fun i thought of Youk.  hubby said no to that name. after the following red sox player (one of my faves.).

 it's all in the beard with these two.

fred is another option.  after our tattooed, bearded rough looking (but pretty nice) neighbor.

 honestly, i don't think he much cares.  he just seems to follow us around.
