HMMM....how do you get in there
Rhett likes going to Aunt JoJo's Vet clinic because he gets to explore! HA HA
Mom and Dad went to Jodie's house to keep the kids so that Jodie and I could go on our scrapbooking retreat. Before we left they decided to watch a 3-D Barbie movie. Grandpa liked the movie best! HA HA
Thursday we drove another hour away to see Grandma and Moopa. We went and had lunch at Grandma's school and while she was teaching Rhett decided to put on a show for all of her children. We were so proud of Grandma for keeping her composure and still teaching her lesson even when Rhett was rolling around the floor and putting on a major show.
This is the cutest picture of Kolsen in his pearl snap shirt and his brand new ostrich skin boots.
When we got home from school we had birthday cake with just my sister and her family. I think Rhett and Kenzie enjoyed the cake the most. She even blew out all of her candles.

When you ask Rhett how old he is he holds up his one finger....he's so smart!! So we are going to pretend that he's saying that the Astros are number 1!!

Rhett was still not in the best mood once we made it to the game, but we were still going to try. We had amazing seats in the club level right behind home plate. We were glad that we ended up on the club level because that way we didn't have to sit in our seats and we could let Rhett run around behind the glass and sit on the couches. It's basically the same as sitting at home and watching the game on t.v. but we still wanted Rhett to experience his first baseball game.
The highlight of the game was when Junction Jack the Jackrabbit came walking around our section. He stopped to give Rhett an Astos baseball. At first I put Rhett beside him for a picture and before I could get the camera out, he ran away from the mascot. So mommy had to be in the picture with him. In the second picture you can see Rhett leaning back and looking up at the Jackrabbit trying to figure out what this thing is that's hugging his mommy. He didn't cry or act scared he was just very curious. We left soon after this picture. I really don't even know if the team won or not but at least Jason and I survived Rhett's first game.
Today we got a little watermelon and ate it on the deck. We knew that Summer couldn't officially be over until we ate a watermelon in the backyard. It was the sweetest, seedless one we have ever had. Rhett really liked it as well, but it took him some time to figure out that you are supposed to eat the red side and not the green side. He must have his mommy's taste because he wanted to salt his watermelon just like his mommy does. We had a wonderfully lazy day enjoying our watermelon. Oh and Rhett wanted to tell all of the grandparents...
HAPPY GRANDPARENTS DAY!!

Today we went to Target to get Rhett some leggos and a wagon. We found this super-cool bucket of leggos and he loves them. When he wakes up in the morning he makes a fast dash straight for them so that he can start playing. I'm pretty sure that daddy is having as much fun with them as Rhett is.
We were looking for a wagon but when we saw this Radio Flyer Bike we decided that this is what Rhett needed. Especially since you can buckle him into the seat. Rhett was such a big helper for his daddy. Jason was so sweet to let Rhett "help him." I think we were all very happy when it turned out looking just like the picture! Way to go boys!!
