To pull your hair up.
To feel the slight breeze from the mountains.
To have awesome songs playing in your ears.
To feel your whole body working.
To challenge your mind.
I have always said I am not a lover of running.
But I think I have had a change of heart.
I miss it if I don't run for longer than a week.
I enjoy the weather.
I enjoy the freedom.
I love the way it makes me feel.
Mid-run yesterday I decided to stop.
I found a random corner of grass and laid there.
It was beautiful.
And so calm.
And so peaceful.
I couldn't ask for much more from life
when I was in that moment.
And maybe that is how life should be;
accepting and loving what you have.
Flourishing from what is around you.
For God gave us this life,
and all I can say is 'Thank you'.

Sigh... swimming
This morning my seester Raquel
taught me some swimming lessons.
She was a swimmer for the U of U
and boy oh boy is she good!
The triathlon is a few weeks away,
3 and a few days to be exact.
If I can make it through the swimming
portion I can praise the high heavens
for not letting me drown.
ha ha.
I commend all those swimmers in the world.
It is going to be a rough, but exhilarating
sport to learn to do.
