Every so often Ryan gets to my office about 20 minutes before quitting time. There isn't much for him to do while he waits so he has started drawing all his favorite soccer clubs crests & symbols on my scheduling board. I have been quite impressed because drawing on a white board is not the easiest thing to do. I was really starting to look cool as he made it so some of them looked like they were behind others. However.....yesterday Olivia knocked a cup off my desk. I didn't notice it had splashed all down the side of the board where the drawings were until I went to leave. Here is what now remains.

RSL & onerepublic
The crowd at this game was AWESOME!! They cheered and sang and never stopped. It was hands down the best crowd since the CONCACAF championship. I felt so bad because my dad missed this awesome game to stay home and watch BYU take a beating from Utah. Hopefully he has learned from this error and will make a better choice next time :) (Please have a moment of silence for all the poor BYU fans who skipped RSL that night...) I have to say my favorite moment of this game, aside from Nat Borchers awesome goal, was when Will Johnson gave the ref a thumbs up for finally making a correct call . Everyone around us was laughing.
The concert was so great!! We didn't stay for the whole thing, but Liv got to hear all the songs she likes; Apologize, Everybody Loves Me, Secrets, Stop & Stare & All the Right Moves. Sorry this picture is so bad!! I can never figure out how to make the camera work for a night time photo. I was so impressed with the lead singers voice. He did a wonderful job.
Waiting for the game to start :) She was so excited for the tatoos Brant got her :)
This weekend we had a double treat; an RSL game AND a concert by Onerepublic!! It was a lot of fun. We aquainted ourselves with lots of onerepublic music on Friday so we would be ready. Liv was so excited for her first concert.
RSL played one rough, ugly game of soccer and got the win! This puts us in 3rd place in the West. NICE! We hope they get a few more wins and make it to 2nd. I am a little sad that there are only 2 more home games, playoffs, and the season is over for 4 months. Thank goodness we have European soccer to get us through :)
Olivia laughed hysterically when she saw this picture of Brant. I have no idea what he is looking at. It is pretty funny./

I wish I could figure out how to get a video off of my phone so I could share a cute little clip of Liv singing along with Apologize. She was so into it. All in all it was a great night. We love us some RSL for all they do for the fans!!

GGOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!
Liv scored her first goal last night. I am so sad I didn't have a camera with me. We thought she would go crazy, but she was quite calm. Ry, on the other hand, cheered and cheered - no doubting who her daddy was. Liv's soccer season is just about over; only 2 more weeks. I have mixed emotions about it. I loath the 5:30 games, but I love watching her play. I love cheering and laughing as a bunch of 7 year olds chase a ball around. They are starting to finally understand playing in their position, but occassionaly they just want to kick the ball. . It will be sad when this season ends. Her little team has lots of friends and she LOVES her coach. He also was a room dad in her class last year. We were really excited when she was placed on this team. Of course, spring soccer will be here before ya know it and we will get to freeze to death. It's all worth the sacrafice to see Liv's progress and love for soccer. I think Liv has learned a lot this season. We really try to help her understand that winning isn't the most important thing, having fun is. I shouldn't be amazed, but I am, at how much she has improved since last season. It must be from watching all those soccer matches with her daddy. Mostly I am glad that she knows after every game to tell her coach and the refs thank you. The girls who were the refs last night were so surprised they gave her hugs :) Way to go Liv!!

BYU Stadium Tour
We had some much fun touring BYU stadium!! It was really interesting to hear about all the different things that take place on game days. We got to see the Cougar Room, home team locker room, the blue room, ref locker room, press box and president's suite. I think all the kids had a great time, I know the adults did :) I have secretly always wanted to ride in the elevators at the stadium so I was excited to go up in the press box!! Some interesting facts....no tithing money is used for stadium upkeep, to put in the legacy seats on the west side they had to take out all the steps and replace them, when ESPN pulls their trucks in they don't have to run wires they just plug into a little box, there are no plans in the near future for a new stadium, the stadium's capacity goes down each year as they had wheelchair seating.
Liv and the Peterson girls. They all kept track of each other.
Ty Detmer wall...pretty cool. This is in the Cougar Club room

Not to make you jealous but.......
WE ARE GOING ON A TOUR OF LAVELLE EDWARDS STADIUM TONIGHT!!!!
We are very excited!! I have no idea how the bishop, or whomever did it, got this set up for a mutual activity, but what a great idea. Liv is just about to come out of her skin with excitement.
Also, we are very excited to have a missionary to write to. Ryan's secretary, Erica, went to the MTC yesterday. She has become a part of our family. Ryan often says she is the little sister he never had. I already miss texting, hey telling, and chatting with her. I am so glad we got to do some many fun things with her before she headed out. We also got to meet her wonderful parents, who have to be the NICEST people on the planet. Olivia wrote Erica her first letter yesterday which consisted of one note and about 5 colored pictures. We tried to find a sister missionary picture to color, but never did; we just found one of a girl in a dress and at the bottom it looked like a missionary tag and read, "Sister Erica Unice missionary;noun a person who leaves their family for a short time so others can be with their family for ETERNITY". Liv already has a stack of more pictures to color for her today :) I'm excited to send her a couple fun packages over the next 18 months. Erica is serving in the Nebreska Omaha mision. I just know she is going to be so awesome. She is an amazing young woman. We feel so blessed to have her as part of our family and as a wonderful friend.
