Here is my current home away from home. It's 12' X 12', so it's more like a cell. But it's all mine, and check out the pics of my women on the message board. At least I get to see them before I go to sleep and when I wake up.

I haven't blogged in awhile; been busy making life changing decisions. But, Angie says that is no excuse, so here goes:

I am no longer an Industrial Engineer for Lockheed Martin. That turned out to be an interim job, at which I toiled until my dreamjob came along. Throughout my adult life, things have seemed to fall into place, just as I planned them out. Is it because I am in tune with God's plan for me, and I live under his constant grace and guidance? I doubt it! (Trust me that idea seems as ridiculous to me as anyone else!) I think it's just that God knows if he didn't put his plan in my head, I'd find a way to screw everything up.

Anyway, after a long, painful wait, my dreamjob called. I am currently going through a six month training, and will be working in my own backyard once I am graduated. I am excited, to say the least; but I am thankful that I have a warrior-wife back home who is willing to endure six months of lonely, stressful, frustrating, single-parent misery, just so I can be happy with my career. My life would be an utter failure without your support, Angie. Thank you.

I can't wait to see my girls in a few days. This Christmas break is going to be wonderful, and too short, I'm sure.

Setting a Good Example for the Kids

Delaney's party was a huge success. The kids had a blast on the Big Kahuna waterslide. Later, Aunt J, KK, Aunt G, Ryan, Chad, David, Bubba, and even D-Daddy showed the little ones how it's done. But of course, the adults had to see if they could make it just a little better.......
