The latest!!!

Well, Its been a long time since I got on here and gave any updates. I got to see my son last weekend!!! He is 14 and is living with his dad in Oregon right now. I hadnt seen him in over a year. I was absolutely shocked when he got out and was about 5'11!!!! When he left he was barely nose to nose with me. He has grown up so much. The girls are there visiting with him for a few weeks. THey were so excited to see him too. They ran straight to his open arms. It was great. Im hoping that he will come back here for a little visit before he starts school as a FRESHMAN!!! Im getting old.... Also some other exciting news...My little niece Jaida turned one. Wow how time flies. Anyways...the agency that my sister dealt with for her called a few weeks ago and told her that Jaidas birth mother was pregnant again and wants my sister and hubby to take this one too. Talk about a shocker!!! Well they decided to do it. She is due August 20th with another girl. We are so excited and grateful for the chance to welcome Jaidas sister into our family. Well Ill try to get on here again soon. Thats enough excitement for one day........

Saturday is our first anniversary!!! I cant beleive its already been a year, and what a wonderful year t has been. I am certainly the luckiest woman ever. I have the best husband. Ryan is the most caring supportive loving compassionate selfless honorable man I have ever met. I am treated like a queen. He has taken my children into his heart and he has made them his own. He is the best daddy to all 4 of our kids. He has shown me love and a relationship that I didnt think Id ever have let alone deserved. He is truly my knight in shining armor. He is the love of my life and I am so grateful for everyting he is to me and our kids. I am so thankful for him and the happiness and love he shows me, even when I am not deserving of it or being a total brat....I want to tell him how much I appreciate and love him so here goes....Ryan, you are the love of my life. I have no doubt that you are my soul mate. You were sent to me for a reason. From the moment we talked on that dating site, to our first call, to the moment you walked up to me covered in dirt at Walgreens, I have known that I loved you. You have made enormous sacrifices for us and given your all every day for us to have what we have. I am so thankful for you. Thank you for marrying me. Thank you for letting me share your last name. I strive every day to do it justice and make it a name to be proud of. Thank you for letting me and the kids join your wonderful family and allowing me to gain new sisters and brothers and an incredible set of parents. You are a noble example of a loving husband and father. I cannot wait to see what the next 50 years bring. I love you so much sweetheart.....Happy Anniversary!!!

Merry Christmas!!!!

Christmas is almost here!! This is my favorite holiday, not for the gifts but the attitude that come with seeing a childs face light up at the sight of their name on a present under the tree and my sweet little neice staring at my pretty little christmas tree. This year we got to go with Shawn and Nik and cut a tree, it was fun (other than me sliding under the truck). It was alot of fun to have the family together and share that experience as a first with my girls. It has been so fun to show them what a family is all about. I got to go take poictures of one of my neices yesterday and wanted to show them off. She is getting so big. She has such a personality. She had a rough start to life and recently has been pretty sick, but you cant tell. She is always smiles. She and I have something special and Im so grateful that my sister finally was blessed with her after waiting for so long. Im looking forward to all the parties this weekend and getting to see everyone. Merry Christmas and know we love you!!!

December is just around the corner!!!

Can you beleive it!! Well Im trying to get the hang of this and Im slowly figuring it out. Ive got pictures in weird places, Ill get it eventually. Thanksgiving was great!! We got to spend time with both families and it was wonderful. Barbara is such a wonderful cook and we are all truly blessed to have her in our lives. I thought Id take a second to reflect on the things I am so thankful for at this time in my life. I am so very very thankful for a wonderful husband. He is amazing, truly the best man I have ever met and a true answer to many many prayers. He is a wonderful daddy and our children are blessed to have him as their daddy. He is wonderful in every way. I am so thankful for my new extended family and the way they make me feel so welcome. It isnt easy marrying into a family and I am so lucky to have found the one I have. I now have the sisters and brothers I never had. I have the best in-laws, they have always been there for me and its been wonderful. I am so thankful for my kids, my little girls are so sweet and helpful. I am truly blessed to have them. My son is a miracle and I miss him greatly. I know he is well and Im looking forward to a holiday visit with him. Wylie is the sweetest little boy and I love being able to be a part of his life. I am thankful for so much, I could go on forever. I have a great family. My sister was finally able to adopt this year and that has been an amazing adventure to share with her. Jaida is my little sunshine. This last year has been full of so much to be thankful for, I cant wait for next year!!!
