Roller Girls!

Yes We Did!

This month panic has set in as my "2nd 29th birthday" is fast approaching. I suddenly feel the need to be adventurous before I'm old and boring;)! And, of course, the first thing everyone thinks of when they consider adventure is Roller Derby!

Somehow I talked Jasmine into coming with me, and despite the fact that my muscles still haven't recovered, it was the funnest thing I have ever done! Seriously, if you ever get the chance, you HAVE to try it!

So, first things first; we needed proper derby names...drumroll please...

but oh well...

I got straight A's!!!!!

I was literally dancing through the house when my final test scores and grades posted last week! Ali thought it was hilarious;). I have never been a straight A student, so to see it's actually possible was awesome. Now I know for sure that all the hours and hours of no sleep and all study were worth it! My next hurdles are math, communications and computer lit. in 2 weeks;(.

We'll see if I'm still dancing after math! It's my nemesis.

Kennady's 6th Birthday!:)

As much as I tried to keep it from happening, happen it did! My little miss Kennady is 6;(. It was a heck of a party though! We had it at Monkey Bizness (totally recommend it!) and it was a blast!!!

Just watching the kiddos "monkey around" made me tired.

Me Time!

Life has been completely insane since January and it finally caught up with me today. So guess what I did . . .

N.O.T.H.I.N.G!

Well, I guess I shouldn't say "nothing," but I did steer clear of the usuals. I didn't get dressed until 10am, Ali and I went to a music and movement class, we picked up Kenna off the bus (normal), then we all came home and took a 2 hour nap (not normal), then I decided I was going to craft so I did! No homework, no laundry, I did feed my children (but I made what I wanted;)!
It's been a great day! I might just survive for another 3 months:)

I found this idea in Woman's Day magazine and I had to make it!

So easy and "cheep";), if you can resist eating it;)
